I grew up in Youngstown. When we attended YSU in the late 60s much of the campus expansion had begun with “urban renewal”; the tearing down of whole blocks of condemned homes which created free parking spaces. The down side was that when it rained, or virtually all winter, they were revered to as the “mud lots”. Students trying to exit these informal parking venues after classes would help each other by taking turns pushing cars through the snow, ice and mud and onto the street. It was madness. Nice to be able to watch the video showing the results of all that craziness with that beautiful YSU campus.
