What am I missing? Why take so many certs? Isn't getting the CSA and getting a job as a ServiceNow System Administrator a stopping point? Unless I want to build up to an architect.
@tehczavier2 күн бұрын
You aren't missing anything. My reason for pursuing so many certs is because, for me, ServiceNow's Now Create methodology helps me understand tech so well.

It varies, but I recommend looking at the offerings from Thinkhdi.com. I got mine a while ago and the cost was about $700, but I'm sure it's gone up. $700 was the cost for the ecourse and exam, and the course was mandatory. Hope that helps.

I am currently studying at community college and intend to transfer to WGU for my business administration ITM. However, I have a question: Is this a good degree to have for a job after graduation in 2024?
@tehczavierАй бұрын
It really depends on the job you are going for. But in my opinion it is, because you understand how to be more strategic as an IT professional. You can always get supplemental certifications or create technical projects if you want to strengthen that area.

How easy is it to get a job as an entry-level CSA in your opinion?
@tehczavier2 ай бұрын
To be honest it's hard to say. I was fortunate that my employer was transitioning to ServiceNow, and I raised my hand to step in and was the only person who got certified when it was still new. To answer your question, it depends on what the company is looking for. Some companies want someone to join their team of system administrators, others want to hire one person to do everything. I wish I had a better answer.
