I think Lotte and all those involved should receive a Nobel prize in medicine for their development of GLP-1 drugs. As many have said, it's a game changer for diabetes management and obesity management, not to mention possible benefits for heart and neurological health.

From what I've read, the VA did not accept John Eng's quest for a patent, not because the gila monster was poisonous, but because the VA only supports research that focuses on veteran problems.
