Bergentrückung means King Under The Mountain, and Asgore is the name of the character who's boss theme it is. Bergentrückung is the intro that plays before the battle starts in earnest, and it's about 10-15 seconds long.

Music in 40k, at least when it’s themed around the Imperium of Man faction, has to always sound equal parts mechanical and liturgical.

Oh man, Okage. The vibe is one of the closest things to Earthbound I've encountered outside its series... A weird kind of charisma. Accidentally overwrote my save with my sister's as a child while helping her train, put it down for years, and came back to beat it as an adult. It's got loads of early-PS2 cruft on the edges and it's by no means mechanically perfect, but the audiovisual direction and the characters really make it worth checking out.

Pokémon XD is one of the games that people call a "side series", that are somewhere between a spin-off a mainline games, because the formula changes but the battle mechanics are the same.

Being underwhelmed is a reasonable reaction to this. So much hype around Liberi Fatali is because it was accompanied by what was at the time the most impressive FMV opening of any game up until then. So this hype is coming from people who were 10 at the time and were like "WHOA CHECK THIS FMV OUT" Uematsu has many much much better compositions.

A lot of the Metroid music, in general, tends to lean more towards the feeling of being on another planet or in space. You're supposed to have that feeling of mystery because you're going into the unknown. The music changes to a more energetic one when conflict comes, be it a fight against dangerous wildlife, or the Space Pirates (which the frigate Orpheon belonged to), to boss fights. The music was JUST as important as the environment when they were making the games, and it shows the love and passion they put into it. Edit: Forgot to mention that the Frigate Orpheon was a space frigate that crashed onto an alien planet and was flooded, hence the technological sound and the underwater vibe. And you walk through the flooded ship, not swim. I highly recommend the Metroid series if you ever want to give the games a try. But if you want to hear an amazing track from the Metroid series, I recommend Metroid Prime 2 Echoes main theme.

There are at least 30+ Warhammer 40k games. But in context to Mechanicus, there are a lot of factions with their own identity. Like Mechanicus features the Tech Priest of Mars. Which is a faction of humans diffrent from the Imperium of Man. Which has diffrent theme than the Orks which tends to have straight up rock and metal themes. In context to these songs, the Imperium is a religous totalitarian regime. But Darktide is more about lowlifes (by the Imperium's standards) fighting a zombie horde in a giant city on the behest of the secret police. Also it is boss music. It plays on assasination missions. Well, assasination in the vain of a witch, a giant ogre man, a gun nut, and a crazy person with a hammer run screaming at the top of their lungs, fighting through 100s of guy to get to the target.

Not sure if it was said before but I remember reading a blurb from the one of the music directors about Persona music in general. (It's been a while and I'm paraphrasing what I understood from it) I believe it said something about how they wanted the songs catchy because players would be hearing it constantly. They chose English because they wanted the vocals to meld as an instrument along with the other accompanying instruments but not steal the spotlight. (Since Japanese is the main language) It became a huge hit with the Western audience because obviously we latch on to the lyrics.

One of the best things about Darktide is the music. That music starts pumping during a big horde and you can just feel yourself get into it. By First Person Action, more because its a mix of some rpg elements and a mix of melee and ranged combat. Then there are swarms. It can get really hectic especially on the higher difficulties.

Warhammer originally started as a tabletop fantasy-parody franchise strongly influenced by lotr; since then, it’s evolved into several different settings with similar attributes. 40k is the ‘sci-fi’ version, basically. There are many different interpretations of it because the creators essentially toss their license to whoever is willing to play around with it, resulting in a variety of different sub-settings and genres. The music they choose to use, while often sharing some aspects like chanting or organs and such, help reflect that. Mechanicus, for example, is about a bunch of tech-worshipping zealots exploring/pillaging/excavating the planet-spanning ruins of an ancient advanced civilization. As a result, a lot of the music has more overtly religious parallels, is slower, methodological, and mysterious. Darktide on the other hand, is an action shooter/hack n slasher that takes place in what basically amounts to ten versions of New York stacked directly on top of each other. It’s more grungy, punk-metal/electro-cyber-ish as a result. But as religion and its use/consequences is a major reoccurring theme across all of 40k, you can still hear the implementations of things like chanting and organ music here and there too. It’s really interesting and it shows what sort of mood the devs wanted to convey.

9:30 Well, "Sol Badguy" is a name he chose for himself, so I've always seen it as as name that sends a message. He very much does fit that neutral territory, so to me, I've always thought of it as him announcing that he is everyone's Badguy - that he's always gonna disagree with you and create problems. No matter who you are, he is the badguy.

Warhammer comes in two varieties. Warhammer, sometimes called Warhammer Fantasy or Age of Sigmar, which is a fantasy setting and has games like Vermintide and Total War: Warhammer. Warhammer: 40,000, or just 40K, is the distant future version of the setting (originally, they’ve diverged more over the years) with games like Mechanicus, Darktide, Rogue Trader, and Space Marine. Darktide is what’s known as a hoard shooter, where a team of around 4 players work together to shoot and/or melee their way through a hoard of enemies to complete objectives and get to safety. Mechanicus is an isometric, turn-based strategy game.

@r.f.switch5847 Күн бұрын
So, the thing about the Twilight Princess versions of the song... (Spoilers) . . . . . . . . . . Ok, so the main crux of it is that, while the castle theme is playing, Ganon's theme is heard (the part of the song that ISN'T Hyrule Castle.) and it gets louder and more prominent as you progress, signifying that Ganon has completely taken over the castle like a sickness. It's getting darker and more sinister on purpose to let you know "Oh no, Ganon won and he has corrupted EVERYTHING."

I played the game because of the music from one trailer, which played the game's opening theme, Nihil, by KAF, who may very well be my favourite voice on this planet. not sure why, tho. And later I learned that some interesting staff were working on it, so I was really hyped for the game BUT it ended up being.. kinda boring? also, you could see it was a small indie project because of the game's finition... but yeah, a bit disapointing overall, but maybe it was me expecting too much. Still need to get back into it and finish it...

Disposal Unit plays when you have to dispose of a cultist captain. The boss has a shield that soaks up damage, and that crazy chorus shouting at the beginning of the song only shows up when you break the shield, and you start to deal permanent damage to the boss edit: I think you should look up Warhammer 40k on your own to learn about the universe, it's a really awesome franchise

I wouldn’t say it’s completely ridiculous to listen for similarities between Warhammer/40k games, but it is probably worth noting that many of these games are licensed games, based on the same property, rather than a cohesive series of games…They vary in theme, location/setting, genre of story, genre of game… The original Warhammer is a fantasy, tabletop war game, with a decent part of the hobby being collecting, assembling and painting the models, then rolling lots of dice to defeat your foes lol… Warhammer 40k is pretty similar, except they take the original game and convert it into science fiction, set in a backwards, post apocalyptic future, where another apocalypse has started lol. It’s set across a vast galaxy, with next to endless possibilities… You have farming worlds, hive cities (basically a city built on several other cities, with a population of a country… Cyberpunk dystopian…), crazy alien planets, forge worlds… Demon dimensions… Their version of faster than light travel is essentially popping in and out of hell to save on distance… Strategy games tend to be the main game type, given the origins of the franchises, but the universe works well for various genres… There are some shooters, there’s RTS, turn based strategy, at least one RPG…

Darktide is described to be a "first person action game" because a significant portion of the game involves first person melee combat (swinging swords/clubs/axes/etc., blocking and dodging attacks, shoving enemies away, etc.) in addition to shooting. I haven't played in a year and a half but from what I remember I think I'd say you're doing melee combat maybe about 50% of the time, though that's mostly depending on your class (and now apparently class build). I'd hazard to guess that some classes can be in melee upwards of 90% of the time and, on the other extreme, probably only spend about 30% of the time in melee. The ranged weapons are powerful but have limited ammo and you're also often fighting swarms of weaker enemies interspersed with more powerful "elite" enemies and occasionally bosses.

Future Connected is en epilogue to Xenoblade 1 that was added in the Definitive Edition, and it's included. Torna is a DLC to Xenoblade 2 that acts as a prequel and it's like a new whole game from about 25-30 hours Xenoblade 3 also has a prequel DLC, it's called Future Redeemed, but you should not check it out because you will be instantly spoiled. Xenoblade games are independant to each other. XC2 is not a sequel to XC1. They're independant games. Just like Final Fantasy.
