Thanks for the great explanation as always! I'm on my third caliper on my Accord, its been consistently wearing pads on one side more than the other. Someone mentioned brake hose to me recently and I thought that seemed silly considering it wasn't leaking so I didn't think anything else could be wrong with it. Your "check valve" explanation makes perfect sense and when I was bleeding the new calipers I did notice that the offending wheel was harder to rotate but thought nothing of it in the moment. I've got a hose on order and we'll see if that solves the issue once and for all after all these years.

I have a 2004 Element that will just buzz most of the time when turning the key. Is that a starter problem? After a few attempts, we manage to get it to start. What is the buzz coming from?

2012 clubman S...Mini car. Maxi problems...junk. garbage. crap. scrap. money pit. piece of s**t. after 5 years they're almost worthless. worst piece of junk i've ever owned and has ever been made. almost bankrupted me. the car left me stranded so many times going to work that my employer threatened to fire me. i never knew that if i left for somewhere that i would get back. new car dealers don't want minis for a trade, used car dealer just laugh if you ask them to buy it from you. i left the key in with the doors unlocked in a bad neighborhood and you can't even get anyone to steal from you. the only thing you can do is private sell it at a huge loss. i needed therapy after i dumped that garbage can and i still have nightmares. folks...if you value your mental health and financial wealth, don't do it, just don't do it.

shame, shame on you, no axle stands {lol}, like you I have a hydraulic jack but still place an axle stand under the frame, learned way back when while using a bumper jack how quick you can loose a leg etc, very good video for those who don't know, I have a '64 Merc with 4 wheel manual drum brakes, did have a single master but when brake line got a hole {lucky I was in my parking lot when it went} so spent 45hrs and I ripped out the entire brake system {every single thing} and installed a dual master to boot, left it all original outside master and using copper/nickle lines so they shouldn't rust out any more

There's very few of these kind of workshops left in the UK, its become a throw away culture, which i think is a great shame, however its good to see its still alive and well in the US. Great video 👍

I get it, stA Ql❄️.. congradUlations on being thE only viDO I’v Cn discussing the high side, AT ALL!! still don’t get wat it is thO.. they appear to B, on this ‘amp meter ?’ connected as when 1 goes up, the other down(& vic versa), so Y does everyone say not to touch high-side, when there IS a schroud wat-ch-ma-cal-it, &&& they’re connected anyway? &&& although the widely used, & UtUbd recommendations, inc. manuals, hood stickers, etc., are apparently clearly false as prop. infl. amount pertains to ambient weather?, - as far as adjusting proper amount with lower pressure side, wats the point if no one knows what higher pressures supposed to be & they’re connected?(IO, therefore no one would know IF they’re adjusting lower side accurate?, so wats point?).. ?? IO again - the amount of freon(with no leaks) supposedly isn’t gonna change - & that amount will affect these pressures.. but how is anyone supposed to check lower pressure & amount, when they both change &&& R dependent on amount on higher pressure area(I won’t say section because they’re apparantly connected)? & btw, Y does everyone emphatically say don’t touch higher pressure side(meaning inflate or deflate I’m guesscing), when THEN they all say inflate, deflate, etc. the lower pressure side, WHICH APPARENTLY IISSS dUing exactly what everyone said NOT to do 1secNd earlier?(inf./def./high-sId).. hmnnn?🤔

Saved my ass getting wheel cylinders off, but no help when installing the new ones. The odds of these being tight at the exact moment the wheel cylinder is lined up are pretty slim. I suggest spending more time with the torch and penetrating oil and don't be like me and forget to take the cap off the bleeder before sticking the torch back there. It's ok I got 2 new ones for only $23 and they came with free wheel cylinders! Love my GMT400, some of the parts are so cheap you can buy them and make $ at the scrapyard

Kudos to you for this for one, but also... do you have /any/ idea where the hell to get one of those clips if you lost one via a broken window? They're not sold, they don't look like a shape of any other kind of clip (a little like the Dorman variety pack if you cut the ends off of one)...

Good to know, I'll keep that in mind. I recently had a vibration issue with a 2011 CRV that I let sit for 4 months; ended up being a front right caliper that's hung. Don't let your vehicles sit a long time like I did, it always tends to make them mad somehow.

Hopefully not too dumb of a question, but does it mean anything if you have a blue spark(maybe weak) when testing plugs one by one, but with all 4 on the head there is no spark at all? It was driving me crazy because it would crank forever and I figured I had spark and knew I had fuel and that the timing was good, until I pulled all 4 on a whim and saw no spark It died from a stop after running fine, and I'm guessing the igniter or coil is bad/weak I'm tempted to try new plugs since they're slightly old, but the odds of all 4 dying at the exact same time would be miniscule

have 2011 nissan versa, the mount's inner rubber? has little bit of tear and the front knob part it has is half way torn. I recognized that I can hear a high pitched short clunk noise when I drive on the rough road. I cannot hear every time nor when I go over the speed bump, but on a rough road, yes. Would this solve once I replace the engine mount? It is the passenger's side, right next to the engine.

Hello Eric, saw this great video with you and Paul. My 1990 Ford F150 4.9 is giving me problems to start it in the morning, I have to pump it some 35-50 times before I could start it, after that it would start with no problems. Before it would start with no problems, but now this is what I need to fix. Thank you.

Thats what i can never get over....is the time it takes to get the wire hot enough. I had tried this exact method with a wire i was trying to splice into a harness. and the wire was so thick i must have waited ten minutes heating the wire because the iron wasnt getting hot enough. The heat of the gun plays an important role. I always crimp where i can and solder where i cant crimp. Thanks for sharing
