Hi Donna, please, update the description for your products on amazon specifically on the Kefir Soda Starter (to avoid customer dissatisfaction). I am a total and complete Newbie to all of this and it does not specify how to Handle the product upon receipt (after the fact I have learned is so important to success, which I am not yet experiencing - no burping/fizz etc...). I purchased about a week ago this summer (not sure how long sitting on a hot truck for delivery) and DID NOT place in the refrigerator/freezer (as the product instructions "but only on the inside" of the packet, clearly states, but of course I did not open the package right away, so I did not know the crucial importance of this.) for quite a few days as I was awaiting the delivery of the brewing bottles. So... I have just repurchased the kefir soda starter directly from your website and paid for the addition of the ice packs for shipping etc... Upon receipt I will put in the refrigerator/freezer immediately. I am excited and anxiously awaiting so I can try this for the very 1st time. Looking forward to learning, experimenting for successful results. Thank you so much for this, and all of your products... keeping my fingers crossed :)

Thank you for your interview with Dr. Davis. Both of you are a wealth of information. I’ve been taking the l reuteri fermented dairy for 5 months straight, and have to say, at 53, my sleep is remarkably improved, my muscle mass has increased, and I’ve noticed an increase of dermal collagen, to name a few. I’ll be slowly incorporating l gasseri with the reuteri for the SIBO benefits, if I have any symptoms of that. I’ll be sharing this information and knowledge to those around me who are affected with SIBO as well. I don’t be adding the B. coagluans to the SIBO recipe as of now. I’ve heard that reuteri and gasseri together pretty much take care of SIBO. I’ll have to see. Thanks again!

More juice and other flavorings add calories and sugar. I use a refractormeter...I have fermented until there is a brix of 5 and then add some natural flavoring (pure fruit juice/frozen fruit) which increases the brix to 6-7, soda can be 10 to15 brix. ...when I fermented to brix 4 it is very sour..So yes it is about half the amount of sugar than soda but there is still sugar and high in calories

Good video! I’ve been making Davis’ L reuteri dairy for over 5 months so far, and haven’t missed a day, other than when I fast. At 53, I’ve noticed muscle gains, deeper sleep, more dermal collagen, etc. Definitely a game-changer with health.

Are HMO’s and colostrum the same thing? I’ve been taking colostrum and wondered if I should continue while using l.reuteri yogurt , kifir and/or kombucha.

Natto Dad suggests not heating natto above 122F. if you want to preserve all the Nattokinase. The Natto bacteria doesn't get damaged at much higher temperatures but Nattokinase doesn't survive in high temperatures for any length of time so it depends on why you are eating Natto if you want to heat it. Check out his videos to learn more.

Important points: Use Ultra pasteurised milk, use 2tbsp insulin for starting batch and lessen it for subsequent batches, always wait till 36hrs, even if seperated continue fermentation till 36 hours and use the products as even they contain the bacteria in great amounts, ideal temp 98-100f

First batch I followed recipe to a T. Came out perfect. Second and third not so much but with Donna’s advice, to lower amount of pre biotic and lowered temp to 98. Comes out beautiful! I went two weeks without it due to vacation and my sleep went to crap. This really helps my sleep. Won’t go without it again.

Please advise me! My very first batch was slightly separated and tasted thick and wonderful. My second batch turned out perfect. But my third batch was quite separated and tasted so strong! So I took your advice and only used one tablespoon of inulin it turned out really good again! But what do I do now? Do I feed it with one tablespoon or two tablespoons of inulin?

I watched your previous video on how to make kombucha...I love it and making it...however I am discovering that it has a high sugar content...I got a refractometer and the sugar contest after a 2-3 week ferment, before I add anything for flavor was a 5 brix on the meter which seems like a lot...my latest batch I have fermented for 8 weeks so of course it is quite sour but the sugar content was down to only 4 vs 5 of other batches....I am now concerned about drinking too much

Donna I've been longing to ask you this, I'm a south east asian and we used to be very confident about our immunity as we get exposed to sun more harsher I guess, at least until COvid come in. Now we know our immunity has grown weaker regardless of having curd as our everyday diet, we now understand our curd is not that strong probiotic possible when fighting the current viruses and bad bacteria. I should thank youtube algorithm for showing me your podcast 6months ago, because of that we are now able to bring in kefir into our life. However I'm still gathering things for the Super gut yogurt ingredients. I just wanna know if you have anyone from south east asia sharing their experience with you especially with L-reutari and L gasseri strains
