The head liner is still mint on my 2006 GMC Yukon, except for right above the driver's side window. It has started to come detached and sag. I sprayed some 3M adhesive and glued it back up. Looks pretty bad, but hopefully it will save it. IDK why GM didn't fold the headliner material over the edge instead of ending right at the edge. This would have eliminated the problem. Guess they never dreamed some bozo would still be driving it around nearly 20 years later.
@GhettoWagon
@GhettoWagon 4 күн бұрын
Ya worse is someone rode around with the windows down all the time parked with the windows down flooded the interior countless times. They decided like a t weaker to just start pulling it Then they cut up the visors and burned holes in them. Makes no sense its like tweaker stuff Yea the material needed to be folded over it was cheap stuff anyway they all fall down

Ya i buy the cheap at wally world. I also used alot of trash found stuff. Im out of it but Maybe i wont use that stuff anymore. SO many people move out and leave a crate of Bulbs Cleaning supplies, car wash soap wiper fluid sealed bottles of coolant are cool sometimes i return it for store cred lolb Last time it was all open stuff Think I sold a bunch of half opened coolant for a few bucks. SOme guy in a FWD impala bought it all It was PEAK 50/50. Green stuff I dont use it. I honestly never use wiper fluid unless Its a bad storm and we have no power/ water and the windshield is trashed with slime. The last time this bottle was empty was over 16 years ago. I think in the blue truck its a swamp in the bottle too. Not sure how that whole bottle comes out think I need to fish it out from the bottom like a toyota was Changed so many cracked Toyota washer bottles..

Yelled at the idiot parking behind me the second I got in the truck and yelled "Ill Ram into your door if you dont move" Mirror is on pretty good slammed some bumps hard on the way to walmart. @@jewllake Some type of electromagnetic fluid i think similar what is in LCD screens. No idea how they sealed it unless it had some glue all the way around it. So many crap used cars I drove on the clock had bad mirrors like this Rear views, Side views. I got so good at driving mirror less cars I can whip anything in w/o running into anything with No mirrors. Yea this crap started eating into the mirror cap. I should get some spare plastics at the junky. You can pirate apart the old mirror too and take the LED flasher out of it incase one ever breaks. I dunno how people wack mirrors man. Its real easy. @@ronniemartinez1070 Ya So you have the first year 4L60E non PWM TC, and same ECM in the white truck here. mine only has like 168 or 9 soon something like that But really it has about 8,000-9,000 less miles because it had smaller tires and a 3% error for many mile if the Speedo is reading faster so was the odometer Best thing I did to this was new valve stem seals. The guides are worn the heads need to be fixed but it still works.. Rebuilt the distributor i have a video on it. Also changed the timing chain those two things stopped its weird surge it had on and off forever. 13PSI on the fuel pressure was the best. Now it scoots. Runs really well. with 13psi. Seen so many of these trucks at auction with stupid miles and they went down the road fine. Some were destroyed and still made it back when I drove them in far away.. I need a whole new paint job bad. Costs too much and no one knows how to paint well these days. So. I dunno maybe one day ill do it myself or at least try.
