can you GAIN 11 lb in one month? I can't. Please review Dr. Tyna Moore here on youtube--you should lose 1 lb/week, MAX, to make sure that you keep it off.

I've been taking 10mg for a month and my doctor just upped the dose to 20mg because I feel more anxious. I'm hoping things will get better now that I'm on 20mg

Could be a side effect of just starting the medication. Usually these go away after your body gets used to them. Lexapro was one of the better anxiety meds I tried

@@Vedrana087 you may be one of those people that don’t lose much on the 2.5 dose. It happens a lot, so if you are feeling fine (symptom free).. maybe you should move up to 5mg from your 5th week. People react so differently, as some actually stay on 2.5 for the duration of their time using mounjaro and continue to lose. Good luck

A sharp drop in blood sugars (caused by the metformin) can cause your sensations of diabetic neuropathy to flare up, but that damage was done when your blood sugars were higher. After a little while the sensations will die down. But you definitely want to be on the metformin to keep those blood sugars lower and prevent further damage. It will be the same with Ozempic. And you never stop taking Ozempic. It is treating the appetite dysregulation which is the disease of obesity. If you stop taking it, of course you will gain all the weight back because then your appetite becomes dysregulated again. You don't stop taking high blood pressure medications when your blood pressure normalizes, you keep taking them because they are working. Similarly you don't stop taking Ozempic because your weight drops, you keep taking it because it is working.

I’ve been on for 7 weeks now in 5mg. I have pcos and have lost 11lb so far. Past 2 weeks my weight loss has completely stalled. I’ve been well within my calories and my jobs very active. I’m lost at what to do. ???

I had to go through an online subscription to get metformin for my pcos. For some reason all three doctors told me just lose weight. I got so sick and tired of the hearing that sh*t because it made me develop an ED. I should start mine in the next week or so. I am so excited and hopefully it helps me with my cycle.

Wow. I’ve had the ‘electric light floater’ vision thing. I know exactly what you are talking about. It never occurred to me that it might be lexapro. My experience, 2 yrs out is overwhelmingly positive. Sleep regulated, reduced anxiety. Over all it’s pretty mild. Still hard to get motivated to do a lot of tasks. I can get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start sometimes. Once I get moving I’m fine. I have had some sex issues. It’s not reduced drive or ability to get wood. It’s just really difficult to climax. I guess some guys might think this is a plus, but it’s kinda frustrating for me.

I was on this medication for years and there is withdrawal with any SSRI. A new doctor asked why I was on it for so long and I said cause the doctor said lol his answer was to put me on ability and buspar. The doctors do not mention it. It is not fun and basically the symptoms is all the reasons you use the med in the first place. Exposure therapy and PMR is the way. I'm now medicine free 1 year so far and feel the best i have in decades.

Just a thought, changing your diet so many times in such a short amount of time is completely counter-productive for your metabolism.... consistency is key for weight loss, and patience... not judging, but just a thought! The Body is very smart and adjusts very quickly to changes...
