Thank you very much for your kind words, Mrs. Okunbor! Can't tell you how happy I am to find out that there's people like you who truly appreciate my humble work. I don't have any schedule to play live at the moment, but when I do, I usually post it on instagram. Do you by any chance live in Jakarta?
@ChrisOkunbor2 ай бұрын
@@bluesblabber Sadly no…I live at the bottom of Australia in Tasmania (freezing cold now). I closed my Instagram site as it was badly hacked, but maybe I need to revive it with a new name. It would be great to see you play live…a good excuse for a holiday to Indonesia one day maybe! I love playing those old blues and ragtime songs too, and then ‘writing the tradition’ with some of my own songs. I play here in Australia and occasionally get to Europe to play, but I’m relying on feel, vocals, and very elementary blues guitar picking. I can see the love, dedication to the acoustic blues and ragtime, and hours of practice that make your music so great…and thanks for that gift you give the world 🎶😊

@@ChrisOkunbor Wow... that's about one of the kindest thing anybody ever said to me about my music. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.. I don't play live too often because there aren't that many people here who's interested in this type of blues. There are audience for electric blues, and modern rock blues, but unfortunately much much less for the old stuff. I saw your videos, and I honestly love what I saw. You got them old spirit alive, and you played places! Huge respect! I'm humbled that you put such a very kind appreciation towards my music. Would really love to see your future post! As for me, I hope I can continue to learn and grow as a musician. Once again, thank you very much, ma'am! Maybe we can jam sometime 😊

This track has a lot of feeling. Thank you in advance - Kent

I'm very aware of that, Mr. Y, and truly appreciate your kind words and support, from the bottom of my heart! For songs in this particular style, I haven't had the chance to see one to completion, even though I might have made a couple. Maybe in my future projects. If you listen to "A Nickel For A Dime", there's Mr. Hopkins' influence in that piece. But at a slower tempo. I'm glad you find this interesting!

Greetings, Mr. Lee, we're neighbors. Yes, our part of the world is hugely dominated by electrics and bands.
