Gosh, I don't know if my ears are deceiving me, but the voiceovers sound a lot like Greg Bimm....he just has that very distinctive deep and low voice...or it is someone who has a very similar voice to him. Lol. Between the 3-minute mark and the 4min 20sec mark is the specific section I am referring to...

Had the honor of being a part of the Avon Marching Black and Gold 2009-2013, and I watch this about once a week and cry every time. This was such a hard thing to pull together, and it really did take until the very end to pull off. And I played trumpet, so I got to play the single coolest trumpet feature in high school marching band history (in my opinion of course).

From 7:25 to 8:18, we are talking one of the greatest moments in high school marching band period. You have two separate ensembles playing two different musical selections, while spread out 100 yards. To pull this off with a high school band requires an advanced level of maturity.
@matthewriggen4334
@matthewriggen4334 10 ай бұрын
I was in the group at that time and can provide some insight. What made this mostly possible (beyond the quality of our training) was the fact that the two ensembles always faced two different directions. The lyrical group is facing backfield while the the group playing the more rhythmic selection was facing front--then notice us switch. It was relatively easy to ignore the other band--completely block them out--and focus in on our backfield conductor. Of course that 40 seconds of material was drilled into us over a 3-month period. At that point anything is easy.

I’m a Texas Bands fan but this is arguably Avon’s best overall show (last decade-2012 pretty good too) prior to the pageantry age! Visual, Dynamic and that Brass demand execution! 2023 fails in comparison.

Hope You Don’t mind I’m actually trying to reach out to all 24,000 plus high schools in North America Quick Example If we multiplied 24,000 high school times 2-4 members of the band in the stands (family and friends) that would be 48million to 96million members in the stands. That’s just talking home team, now if we look at it from this perspective if one team at home is playing football the visitors home field is being occupied playing soccer. That’s a lot of traction word a mouth gets around fast! We ❤️ Have A Plan A new movement taking North America wide began with an idea to eradicate homelessness and starvation not only North America but the entire 150 million world wide in a video game nba2k20 on PlayStation 4 on the east coast nyc area the plan begins with microgreens implemented pre-K through 5, hemp cultivation 6,7,8 Agriculture specialist 9, 10 and 11 & 12th includes ( revolving all around agriculture skills) environmentalist, economics, safety practices, and lawyers. Bungalows will be constructed out of hempcrete housing North Americas 570,615 homeless and starving In which case there they were learn how to manage 60-120 microgreen flats per adult bungalow occupant that will ship out 40-100 microgreen flats to the rest of the 150 million starving and homeless across the entire plane! We the people have the right to assemble at the 50 yard line during halftime with marching bands calling for agriculture skills pre-K through twelve all four marking periods no electoral no electives and nothing less than Monday Through Friday Band camp should be next in any other language besides English creating instant dialogue with in the stands of family and friends of members of the band at the 50 yard line during halftime Have you ever wanted to change things have you ever wanted to make a difference have you ever asked yourself or said to yourself how or if things will ever change or ponder to yourself man there’s so many things that you just don’t understand why they are the way they are well with a movement like this can change all I am not asking you for any donations I’m not asking you to sign any petitions what I am asking people to do is take initiative at the 50 yard line during halftime with the utilization of our Bill of Rights 1 through 10 and call for Agriculture skills pre-K through twelve all four marking periods no electoral no electives nothing less than Monday Through Friday Band camp should be next in any other language besides English creating instant dialogue with in the stands of family and friends of members of the band at the 50 yard line during halftime No more war no more starvation only unification and multiplication WE THE PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND WE WANT CHANGE AND WE ARE GOING TO CHANGE NOW!!!!🎺🎺🎺 We must unite stop toxifying our Mother Earth and come together as The Eternal Creator intended have a blessed day ❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻🎺🎺⭐️⭐️👍🏻✊🏽👍🏿👍🏽👍🏼👍🏾👍🏻🤝
