A cheap manual jack plate would bring that motor up to the perfect position. I had to do it on my flat bottom as well, but it really makes it easier on my arm to drive and specifically corner without that extra dig into the water.

Mine is like that too, we’re replacing it for the summer. We hadn’t ever removed it either.

Glad to see this worked out well I just bought a 2020 Can-Am riker rally. It came with the black and silver basic color scheme. I wanted to take all the silver panels off and do them in a red on red camo with spray paint and I had no idea if that would work but seeing your video has given me a lot of confidence in the process.

Any further comments after use. How about the rain fly it doesn’t look vented out just lays flat. In south Texas it’s about 80 at night and too humid to sleep w/o fly
