i don't think so. it's fun but i don't understand why there is only one meta. in this way all matches are against the same meta. seems to me to do the same match . tear was tear 0, branded with 3 branded fusion would be very high rank. instead the banlist are done to have only pyro deck . should fun to see tear 0 vs snake 0.

Sorry to say, but YGO is still easy. The thing that makes it difficult is that some decks can generate too many unfair advantages. It is like racing against a motorcycle with a bicycle. Riding a bicycle is easy. But if someone asks you to beat a motorcycle in a race, this will be very difficult. I'm just tired hearing YGO player thinking their game is the only skillful game just because they can waste their time more. If you see how modern design is now, Konami trying to make a deck easier and easier but with a powerful endboard. I can call it easy because new good decks usually have less and less restrictions, limitation, drawback, and everything is too generic. . Just because other card games didn't take 20 minutes of monotone combo, doesn't mean they're less skillful. Look how simple Chess but it still is one of the most skillful games for a very long time. I think that fewer advantages or disruptions a player can generate, will make decision-making more challenging. I mean, if your opponent just has 6 or fewer cards. But you have 5 or more disruptions, did you pretend it would be a very difficult match-up? . About the card as a prize. If Konami can pay someone to draw a useless vanilla card. They should pay someone to draw an alt art popular card and make it as a prize. I think players will be more happy when they get it, or when they sell it, because it will be more expensive. . When Pro-players leave the game. Maybe we can see a good side here. Konami now is trying to milk their Pro-players as much as possible. That's why they created this boring META because it is more profitable for competitive players. If they cannot milk competitive anymore. Maybe they will change the target to casual players and create a better environment for casuals.

It’s not the end, Japan just had an 8000 player tournament which was record breaking. Only thing Konami needs to really do is speed up the release cycles in master duel because we do need to get out of this fire meta

Why no crossout and called by the grave? Those 2 save games, especially in this handtrap heavy meta. One imperm or effect veiler on the black cat can end your turn.

I think these prizes make sense in Japan where the game is cheap for everyone. In the TCG where they made the game expensive, prizes should give back to the players accordingly, anything else is just a bad excuse.

YGO prize support has always sucked compared to any other competitive card games, its nothing new. I think its the case that some pro players can get into competitive card games in the first place through YGO's popularity and then eventually move on to other games with better prize support. I'm trying to think of examples of pro players that leave other competitive card games to come to YGO, but I think people leaving YGO for other games has always been a lot more common. A boring and expensive format like the current one also really hurts YGO.

Yoo that's my decklist! The handtrap ratios are very suspiciously telling, with the 1 bone party and 1 sarc. I'm glad you liked it enough to make a video about it! It was my first serious iteration of the deck that I could trust in, kept it at 40 because the maxx c minigame is crucial, but it is not entirely criminal to go over 40 to include more bone party and more non-engine. The other memento trap "Fracture Dance" is also not that bad, it is a targeted pop, and then a non-target pop without paying costs like your horned dragon, and has some use even if your Creation is missing. Unless you are on an inferior line because you had a subpar starter and/or you were interrupted, your normal angwitch/dark blade lines at the very minimum always guarantee you the ability to set up spright elf protecting your CC + i:p or xyz, which you were missing from your endboard. Elf is then also capable of summoning ghattic on your opponent turn for another recycle, and another link material for i:p, you can not unoften set up an untargetable 4 material apo in your opponent's turn like snake-eyes, although it might be a bit overkill most the time. The horus engine imo best serves as a way to play through interruptions which you can't always do too amazing at, so I'll either get my imsety to try eating a handtrap first (and if it goes through it acts as handfixing), or hold onto it for an emergency later on to continue a stopped combo to extend with zombie vampire. They are also free link materials, and just having 1 extra in some interrupted lines can be enough to set up a full-combo board. Setting up a Harbinger actually is the bottom on the priority, in case my combo fully went through uninterrupted, I didn't need the link material, and I can just slap it onto my endboard at the very end. Chaos angel is a nice ED card as well, you do have 2 ways to make it with just mementos, one of them being light + dark, other other dark + dark, and a third with horus, it can be an alternate finisher to the selene accesscode line, especially in simplified gamestates. Donner/Azalea are things that can be considered, as they can self destruct to clear your field for Tatsu. Honorable mention to the earth charmer, because you can easily make it, and steal a maxx c for selene. I don't entirely love nib because having it on your field in a simplified gamestate can deny Tatsu special summon as well. Your fusion in grave does a good job clearing your field of unwanted monsters though, since it can target non-mementos. 4:43 you can alternatively do this line by popping Kirin off Garunix. At which point, you would make IP instead of linkuriboh here. Sunlight wolf eff would add Kirin back to hand, then you still make princess using the wolf & ip. So you end with amblowhale on field, kirin in hand, Kirin pops the amblowhale on opps turn bringing back IP from graveyard & garunix. Garunix can then pop the arvata which can be summoned to the field if you pop Kirin. I prefer this line because you can go IP into SP or Apollousa

Whats up man? I'm trying out snake-eyes horus right now. This deck dont look strong to me. I think my Branded snake-eyes as more gas. I like the Diabellstar engine better because u can have a negate on the field.
