I love this. I have searched the whole morning for a sewfree Granny Square option and was not happy with neither of the countless I have watched. This is perfect. Though, I have modified your way of joining rounds with the one I am used to. Thank you for sharing this!

Aw this is so fabulous and easy thank you! I was going to buy some to make mala necklaces but it looked pretty easy to make and then I found your wonderful video. Thanks too for talking through the process and not fast-forwarding through some of the making so we can actually make it alongside you. xx

I’m learning how to crochet and this was the most helpful video that I actually understood out of maybe 15+ videos I’ve watched. I learned more stitches in this 30 minute video than I tried to learn when watching a 20 minute video with the very basics of crocheting. Thank you so much!

I just want to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Don't ever doubt yourself you do amazing work and I thoroughly enjoy watching you. You have so much talent and thank you for sharing. I will always continue to watch you so don't stop what you're doing my friend. Do you have an email if I have questions about a certain project? Also, do you have a private group where you pay to join? I belong to a few private groups and I would certainly join if you do. Thank you, again🩷🩷

Can you show different ways to join the square’s into a blanket
@synthgal10906 күн бұрын
sorry, I think the entire concept of the granny square being beginner friendly is fundamentally flawed and y'all need to stop pretending that it works. I had to back up so many times because I lost the hole and when I try to find it everything has so many holes.

Guuurrrl, I'm'onna give ya a chill pill, and put ya on 75% playback speed... you were working me up to a tizzy... I knew it when my shoulders reached my ears! It's cool to be excited about something and be animated about it - I get that way myself. But I have complex PTSD and part of the problem is high pitched sounds (yer voice), sharp or udden high pitch sounds that intrude, bells, ringers, beeper, buzzers...all can trigger it and most of the time do. I do what I can to cope - I'm not crazy, after all - thus the chill pill for me is to slow you down in my world. Hyperacusis and misophonia are very real things, but most people don't know the name for it. Some people are born sensitive and with some people it develops with stress or trauma associated with certain sounds. BTW slowing you down to 50% will take your high pitched tones out of the rafters for me. It makes your voice sound lower pitched. And allows my shoulders to relax. I really do hope people with hearing sensitivities see this post. Is problematic an unknown many people don't know how to beat it. None of my doctors ever suggested this to me! It just came to me one day to do it.

My grandmother used to make big granny squares like this, she never made small squares and joined them up though, instead she just used to keep going and it ended up a huge blanket, so cosy.

I’ve watched this vid 10 times without success until I swapped the yarn I was using that was sturdy and less fluffy and then I could actually see and count the stitches clearly, I’m so proud I stuck it out and thanks for your video I’ve seen so many other creators but this is the only one that’s worked for me💕💕 for any fellow newbies I used a smooth acrylic yarn that fits a 5mm hook 😊
