It needs to be doused ( lose its fire in water ) then you need to damage it down to 50% health or less, then you ride it and kill other creatures to get its heat back, and absorb the fire to start getting taming effectiveness!

Swim out back to the walls and you will find a ramp that will take you out but there’s caves and artifacts up there too so…. You know… bats, spiders, scoops, pleuras and other cute little snugglers await you. You’ll also need be use a crossbow or flier to get out and then swim out

Theres caves on the edges you can exit through,only issue is they are filled with cave dinos,so id suggest grinding and getting something fast or strong to escape

I solo’s this…with another Person in my party. I got so sick of them dying (love them but we’d been fighting it for an hour and they’d died 26 times to my current 7) I had to play at an entirely new level. The sigh of relief that came afterwards.
