I missed Marissa too much to appreciate Taylor as Ryan's love interest. She was good from for sure! She could be over the top many times but she knew what she wanted. That on and off relationship Ryan shared with Marissa is not sustainable in a long term......

I mean...Stelena and Bamon are the ships that are the essence of these characters, what can I say? The endgame was ridiculous lol Damon literally went crazy because he didn't want to see Bonnie die. This wasn't about Elena, with Damon it's never really about Elena, it's about what she represents. He's never been able to convince me that he really loves her but that he's just filling a void with her, it's weird. I can say what I think about my experience watching this show in 2023 to the point people get bored with me lol

Yet I like Williamson's work and seeing Paul Wesley from Fallen and Smallville made me really happy. So it was with great hope that I started this series. Unfortunately, it is very quickly disillusioned, because Julie Plec has very badly managed the plots and the relationships between the characters, especially that of Stefan and Elena, and then there is a huge scriptwriting inconsistency. At the beginning, the series started well, during the two three seasons, but then, that was spoiled. Some elements of the story are not very believable and it goes a little all over the place. The series drags on and ended up on anything.

Many Vampire Diaries fans believe that Stefan and Caroline had no romantic chemistry and were better off as friends. Caroline seemed to have been Stefan's last choice. “Stefan never liked Caroline, he just treated her like a friend. Caroline deserved better than being a second choice. For me Caroline should have left all the drama of Mystic Falls and gone with Klaus to New Orleans
