Have we actually seen any competitive climbers get charged with WADA violations? By aligning with WADA, will the UIAA now implement the more or less draconian measures we see in cycling? It is indeed a new day when "anti-doping controls" and "climbing" appear in the same sentence LOL. (Never mind that psilocybin, THC, and alcohol probably make you climb worse or at least no better. LOL.)

Hi man, best to try get in touch with some french athletes, but I’ve trained and competed before at the structure in Champany-en-Vaniose. I think you pay a small fee but it’s usually open year round, the french federation FFCAM could hopefully give more information. Best of luck!

Is there a mechanical/technical reason why they alternate between men and women? It''s a bit harder to follow and from viewer standpoint it seems to kill momentum quite a bit.

It makes it much quicker as the next athlete can tie in whilst the other is climbing. It is also fairer in terms of exposure for each gender.
