I just found out about C2 and sat here and bawled like a baby! I know it's nature, but these Osprey are our family! It's been a very sad year!

this is my opinion but most like was looking for any fish leftovers on the nest and didn't see C2 on the nest because he blended in so well.

Should remove the Light fittings ,it make the chicks in danger in night

the lights below the nest were trying to deter the GHO they had worked last season. they didn't make it easier for owl to see the nest they can see just fine in the dark. there is IR on the nest at night so we can view doesn't effect the birds at all

Thank you for the update. Any way of knowing if the osprey found is Ricky? And it is said it was noticed four days prior a change in Ricky's behavior. I'm curious to know what kind of change? Thank you. Sending positive vibes to Lucy and babies ❤

he was not coming to the nest as much, not providing as much fish as he usually did. He was always a good provider in past seasons so this was not normal for him

I didn't see the growth in C3 right from the beginning. He had lots of food, just not the growth of the other two, in my opinion. I didn't think he would make it!

I didn't have a camera installed inside. I just stuck my iPhone in took a quick picture without flash on. I only did a few times as to not bother the female.

I think all the books should watch a nest on a cam and just see how wonderful and how much interaction the male has with the female and the chicks! It's awesome!
