Professionalism one would expect from the BBC, especially in that era. Many broadcasters in America, like myself, have enjoyed and respected the Beeb for many years. Just once, a modern BBC Radio 4 newsreader ought to just use the Home Service monicker again.

PPMが日本の創成期のフォーク界に与えた影響ははかりしえない。フォークグループのほとんどがPPMのコピーだったと言っても過言ではない。

My oldest brother is 74, I’m 59. He played PP&M when I was very little. I was only 3yo when he left for Purdue and I have no memory of him ever living with us. But I remember PP&M and they, all folk music, have been my favorite genre all my life. It’s good music and good for the soul.

Around 1988 we saw PP&M at the Warwick Music Theater in Rhode Island. They had an older man backing them on mandolin and banjo which added a huge complement to the music. Dick Kniss was on bass of course. Mary’s voice was amazing and so powerful!

YOU shoud be suprised with Big Mistake. At the counter 10:14 when Peter on capo 5 played C, G, Am and F, he mistakenly went to G7 instead of C! Paul didn't express any sign of acuse to Peter for his mistake. Peter did watch Paul with eye sign of regret 😢 right before Paul starting the song. What an accident‼️and gentleman's reaction‼️

In 1963, I thought Mary was the most beautiful woman in the world. I was 10 yrs old then. Now in 2024, I still think the same.

I’ve been watching several of their videos and you are right. Later, she got very sick and it greatly affected her looks; but when she was younger she had very great beauty and her sense of style was superb. In some of these videos she reminds me of Julie Christie.

Yes everyone knows Peter, Paul and Mary but nobody ever mentions Richard 'Dick' Kniss who played stand-up bass for the trio for 50 years. Kniss died on January 25, 2012 at the age of 74.
