Really good recommendations, but especially for us college students focusing on no annual fees and starting to plan out a credit card road map is extremely helpful. For example, Chase's 5/24 rule for new people is extremely important to think about, since you can start out with a lot of their no annual fee cards without worrying of locking yourself out of their CC ecosystem for too long. I would recommend getting Chase Freedom Unlimited and Freedom Flex, both have good multipliers and eventually the "cashback" can be used for travel with a more premier card like CSP or CSR. Other good cards to start out with are the ones I currently have which are the Discover It Student Card (first card) and Capitol One Savor One (second card) also super good multipliers and good intro bonuses with no annual fee.

I also wanted to emphasize in this video that the courses I recommend are skill-based. Beware of courses that promote a specific amount of income or wealth. For instance, I enrolled in a public speaking course to enhance my skills as a speaker and presenter, both personally and professionally. This course didn't guarantee monetary gains; rather, I recognized its inherent value. I harbor reservations about courses that excessively tout wealth and abundance, often targeting a younger demographic. Exercise caution when considering such offerings.

You may disagree with this list but I think it is a down to earth one, this is probably for those who earn a bit more than the average but not enough to do crazy investment things but more towards life quality changements. I would put at least 5000 USD into a on-deman saving account as emergencies fundings, and the rest to buy things to improve your life quality. Keep it up ;).

I agree with this strategy as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Call this video, maybe….”how to lose your first 10k”…..also not every development course actually is useful, this is exactly how so many scam financial gurus become rich and their clients struggle in life. Look for free courses if anything, read books, yes. But invest that money in something that will actually increase your money - not in courses that isn’t certain for anything. Or maybe, are you planning on selling a course at some point?

Hey, thanks for watching and commenting. I am someone who has done formal education, I went to both undergrad and got a masters, and yet I still think investing in knowledge in any way is a great use of money especially when you're in your 20s. There are a lot of legit courses that I've done that have made me a better employee, and a better business owner and have equipped me with practical life skills. I've also had the luxury of having my company pay for courses I was interested in as well. I wouldn't buy nor recommend anyone buy a course from a "guru." No plans on selling a course at the moment :)

Tbh I hard disagree with this. The savings and investing part is good but what is it with people constantly having to pacify themselves with immediate pleasure? If this is your first 10k then you don’t have enough money to be thinking about new towels, basketball games and concerts. The simple rule of thumb is if your net worth is a laughable 10K, don’t spend the money unless it’s better food or something you’ll get financially an ROI on. Sure, buy a laptop if it’s going to help you in your job (definitely buy a refurbished model from 2-3 years ago, though). But don’t buy concert tickets because the ROI on that is none. No, you won’t meet your next co-founder at the concert, and no you won’t make lifelong memories from a 150db speaker blowing right on your face. Have enough savings and investments to at least survive 1 year without work, AND THEN you can buy some frivolous things that satisfy your consumerism urges

Hey, thanks for watching and commenting! Reflecting on my first $10k-$50k, I realized I didn't indulge in any pleasures. Looking back, I believe treating myself to a few hundred dollars worth of experiences wouldn't have hurt, and while the chances of a financial return is 0 and meeting a co-founder at these events are slim, stepping out and enjoying life adds value in my opinion. It's important to enjoy the fruits of our labor within a reasonable budget, especially in today's culture of hustle porn and Instagram-induced inadequacy. Regarding upgrading everyday household items like towels, these items surprisingly made me feel great and it was less than a $100 spend. A bed is an incredible ROI especially if you can get great sleep out of it.

Hi Idrees, cool video concept and execution! Can I ask you what polo shirt you are wearing? I've been looking for something similar with a sturdier collar.
