I didn't listen to the whole sermon, but I love the description that I read above! It is spot on :) Sadly, most "pastors" erroneously teach that entering through the 'narrow door' means that we must persevere in good works and faithfulness to the end of our lives in order to either prove or maintain our salvation. They completely mix up salvation and service and, as a result, they end up polluting the gospel of grace with works of human righteousness. However, this pastor is 100% correct in writing: "No amount of our good works will achieve God’s perfect standard. The good news of the gospel is that though the way to heaven is Jesus Christ alone, that gift of grace through faith is available to everyone, no matter who you are, where you’re from, or your past. Salvation is in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith in him alone." Amen!!!!! That is so well stated:)
