Most of the "depreciation" from a new car the moment you roll out the lot is the markup, the dealer lot fee and shipping fee. That money you leave behind the second you drive out.

Toyota has increased their prices so much it’s going to hurt them.. so the dealer markups are going to really hurt Toyota in the long run.. it’s already happening.. I’ve met so many lifelong Tacoma buyers who refuse to pay the 2024 prices..

I am fed up with Toyota dealerships. I’m considering buying something else. My current Toyota runs great but within the next year or so I’m going to get a new car. I hope by then the Dealerships go to direct buy like Tesla.

vw could have put this out 15 years ago. it could have come with home charging and this rehashed golf look 40 years ago. plus it isn't even coming to the states. vw reinvented the bus 60 years ago and it took them until this year to get it into America. kia puts out new different cars every year. vw is all hype and when we finally get to buy their cars there is still major flaws in the hardware. And, what is so funny electric cars don't need any more software than a 1968 beetle. i don't care whether it has ambient lighting. i don't care that it takes a college graduate to use the front door. i don't care if the owner has 5 or 10 monitors to monitor. I have driven cars since the 60s and never once did I need a back up camera. a 360 camera, a car that winked at me or a car that smiled. what I needed was a car that got 250 miles cost 15000 dollars and was lined up in dealerships across the states ready and available. what we get is nothing and if we ever do get this car we don't need any more hype about things like friendly lights.

I bought a 2023 Toyota Gr Supra 6 speed last year July. I paid $2500 above MSRP, I took it because all dealerships are trying to charge me almost 5k-15k. I think $2500 is not bad after trying to get this car for almost 8 months.

I think hydrogen as a fuel is STUPID. Extremely expensive and requires high energy high pressure storage. Lithium Ion batteries are also extremely dangerous. Seen entire cargo ships lost because of electric vehicle fires. Some explode. Our neighbors down the block lost their garage to a Lithium ion battery pack for an electric drill. Burned the whole thing down. Fire department saved the house luckily.

You can’t even get an electric car in the winter time to run half it’s designated distance not to mention all of the fires that are caused burning the cars to the ground and almost impossible to put the flames out because of the batteries and you want us to fly in these cars Right sell this idea to some other idiots from probably China.

You will not be able to buy directly from Toyota Motors of America because in Texas dealerships are protected by the State Dealer Association that lobbies the Texas State Legislature and passes laws to protect dealerships. I addition, all Toyota dealerships in a five state area including Texas must get their cars from a private firm Gulf States Toyota (Wholesaler). They cannot buy directly from the OEM. Gulf States Toyota is owned by The Friedkin Group and is one of the world’s largest independent Toyota distributors, to a collection of award-winning luxury resorts, The Friedkin Group and its portfolio of companies are unified by a shared mission: to inspire best-in-class experiences that go beyond the ordinary.

Is it me or is this clown missing facts The truck that exploded had a home made make shift hydrogen fuel cell The bus never exploded it was the filling station Also a hydrogen truck caught fire from a car accident if this is true it was not a hydrogen truck that the government use as they are similar to fuel liners and you could see wooden panels on that truck in question Referencing a nuclear power plant tragedy is cold af. Only injured is two minor injuries 😂 Self driving ev’s have taken lives by stopping at junction driving through junction etc.. the batteries are lithium and will eventually pollute our waterways to a devastating effect when the casing cracks in years to come And the notion ev’s are better is an out right joke as we still use diesel to power our ultra fast charging ports. Research is key FK u Tesla employee

I like it lots, too bad it may not make it to the US anytime soon. It would be a great step up and logical replacement for my Chevy Spark EV, giving far more range, more interior volume with less plasticity and still supplying a reasonable grin inducing 0-60 matching the Sparks 7-7.5 secs.

lots of facts wrong. they brought out the 1.8 in 1981 with the dual range 4 speed. only first gen to get the dual range and 1.8, from 82 threw late 86 they only had the 1.8 they never had all wheel drive, but they had front wheel drive/4 wheel drive. all had dual ranges except for the automatics witch had fwd and 4wd with a button. they came with turbo but only with the automatic with fwd/4wd the front wheel drive only came with 5 speed manuals, but never 5 speed AND 4wd. that came with the gen 3's from 85-90 ish when they swaped the name to loyale. they had a hatchback and a 3 door, they were not the same. the 3 door was the gen 3 the hatch was gen 1 and gen 2. the 1.6 stuck around into the mid 80s in the hatch as the lowest trim, came with a larger case ea71

Toyota will go to irrational lengths just to avoid making an EV, it has become quite embarrassing at this point :D *Most people have no idea just how dangerous and toxic ammonia is, and anyone who says "gas is dangerous too" should do a Google images search for "anhydrous ammonia burn", #**#trigger** warning##* This stuff makes high pressured hydrogen looks tame in comparison... I can see this as a fuel for big tank ships, but it will never be the fuel for regular traffic.

The legacy automakers actually believed the statement "The competition is coming!", believing all they had to do was stick some batteries and motors into their existing cars. They were very, very wrong.

Ford and GM have demonstrated people are willing to buy EV trucks ? LOL NO. Ford has lost 6.5 BILLION dollars on the EV market...their EV truck has no usable range when towing and costs more than a new house so it's not selling outside the city folk market. The only company making any money in EVs is Tesla...for everyone else it's a loser.
