What people don’t know is that the “federal reserve” is not federal it is PRIVATE. So the federal reserve debt of $34 trillion dollars is a “private debt” and not federal. That is why they don’t worry about repayment.

Treasury is over the fed. US would devalue the fed note via revaluation of gold on books and take it all back.

Hi, I found this an interesting podcast, as stated, it’s just a hypothetical and no one really knows and if the “central banks” are acquiring gold it’s probably more likely to be a de dollarizing program, I mean in reality there not “buying” U.S treasuries then there swapping the U.S dollars for gold, that’s why China has bought gold for the last 18 months and are definitely not buying U.S debt, they went from holding U.S $1.4 trillion to now $778 billion and are not buying but slowly divesting of U.S treasuries, like 58 billion in the last 3 months, just my thoughts, I’m probably wrong. I don’t know how you came up with that but the people who they buy from have receipts and chain of custody controls to prove that they have been buying up precious metals in all federal reserves except the US.

The Gold price isn't going to "explode". The prices of commodities virtually always trade slightly above their production costs. An ounce of Gold simply isn't produced at the cost of 8k$. Only major inflation can change this.

You two do NOT understand what gold is. Gold is NOT a commodity or an asset. Gold is real money. You don't revalue gold against the dollar, you revalue the dollar agaist gold's value. Wakeup!

Gold is a commodity though. Money is just the most marketable and liquid commodity. Food can be used as money but it's a bad money because it spoils. Salt was used as money... you your self don't understand what money is.... gold and silver are money but not the only money. Just the best money.

@@towncenter7602 Gold isn't a commodity. It has no real value other than a store of wealth. Which means it is real money. All other PM have some kind of use, as well as goods people grow or make. However, none of those things hold value, including real-estate.

So central banks are buying up all the gold with their fake money and then, when they have all the gold (and silver) they say, lets go back to gold and silver as money. Great plan.
