Another fantastic video, I know it’s a long shot, but by chance do you remember the areas you rode in this video, what part of the Pyrenees was this? some outstanding trails
@SteveWorth6 ай бұрын
Hi, this was based mainly around the small Spanish town of Ainsa. Very central on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees. We rode some local trails and parts of the TET nearby.

Hi, Thanks for the comment. The road in question leads from Potes to Sotres in northern Spain 🇪🇸 through the Picos national park. Loved your recent film by the way. Keep up the good work.

What time of year is best for the TET through Spain and Portugal? I could see a trip over there for the TET and a stop for a day or two in Nazaré to watch the big wave surfers as a bucket list trip in the next few years.
@SteveWorth7 ай бұрын
Hi, This particular run was made in the middle of May 2023, its often cooler, cloudy and a chance of rain in the Pecos mountians in the north of spain. heading south into Portugal is often dry, however the top of the Sierra Estrella was very cold and rained. was ok at lower elevation. I think in general most poeple say to avoid these areas in the summer due to heat and this risk of fires, most trails i belive are closed for this reason.

Beautiful video, fantastic locations and spectacular roads, what camera do you use to have such stable footage? Without jolts due to stones and potholes!
@SteveWorth10 ай бұрын
Hi, Filmed on an Insta 360 OneRS. Very good camera with good battery life. Just need to sort out the sound with some sort of wind noise buffer or a separate mic.

Hi Steve Loved the film. Looks like you had a blast. Me and a few mates are planning a very similar trip next year. I don’t suppose you have a gpx of the route that you could send me please.
@SteveWorth10 ай бұрын
Hi, the route can be found on the Trans Euro Trail website. It’s best to check that as the sections change regularly for access reasons. So I would always download the latest route prior to your departure. The same with sections from the ACT, Adventure Country Tracks. Basically we traveled to Santander by ferry, then rode west across northern Spain then headed south into Portugal. Then back again to Santander and home to UK
@dirkgherkins10 ай бұрын
okay thanks, i'm familiar with the TET but not the ACT, cheers for the heads up. I'm thinking of doing it on my 350exc, is there much road work to do?
@SteveWorth10 ай бұрын
@@dirkgherkins hi, the ACT has more road work sections. It’s also a lot easier to ride. We used the ACT sections in places to make up time. However the TET is a little more challenging in places, the majority of it is no problem, especially on an EXC The ACT is in Portugal. So we used it to return north in places. Regards

@@SteveWorth probably stick to the TET then, we only have a week and want to spend as much time as possible off road. i was considering doing it on my 1090 but i think it's probably going to be too big....nice comfy saddle though

Hi Steve, you said you went to Lech, were you also able to ski at St Anton, St. Christoph and the surrounding places?
@SteveWorth4 жыл бұрын
Hi Dylan Yes it’s possible to travel around the areas you mentioned. There are some very modern gondolas and lifts which link all the areas together. Very easy to follow piste maps to take the correct links etc. It was busier over in the St Anton area. Warth area is a place you can also reach and has some great runs and quieter. Regards
