Population growth is the worlds biggest problem. I might even say it is the root of all other problems.

Over 30 years ago we retired on our mountain property. People visiting would say we lived too far out. But over the last few years people started moving up in droves. Building homes or fixing up old logging shacks that were built back in the 30's & 40's. Lots of pot grow sites have sprung up, non English speaking persons living in camp trailers in the forest, gang writing tagging the road signs claiming territory, etc. We don't see the wild animals and herds of deer any more, when we open our windows for smell of fresh mountain air we only get the smell of skunk weed.

Policies attract the poor and retract the businesses. The super rich will stay but usually have multiple places to live.

Born in Florida, raised in Florida. Some parts of Jacksonville are either the most southern mfs known to mankind, or it's literally NYC in Florida. Clay County, where I have pledged my life to, is the part where it's ultra-southern. Downtown Jax is a different story. You couldn't pay me any amount of money to go near that.

In the past few years, more money has relocated to Palm Beach county than any other county in the nation. Tax revenues are thru the roof. The state and most counties are far from going broke. Many areas will see real estate prices decline after having recently increased at an unsustainable rate

DO NOT MOVE TO FLORIDA. I have lived here over 30 years and it has become a toilet. Wages are even lower than ever compared to elsewhere. Cost of living is ridiculous. Crime is up. Water quality is plummeting and Florida is full of scam artists.

South Jersey is a hollowed-out wasteland. All the youth has left it's just a bunch of old people. Suburbanization has completely destroyed the sense of community that was once cherished. The industrial base is underpaid and quite possibly many illegal practices are going on in such companies, as I have worked for them, taxes are ridiculously high, it's too crowded even in a rural area, the roads are shit and don't even see proper care, it's really just a shit-hole.
