Makes perfect sense, I’ve been hitting high spinny wedges and when you try to finish “low and left” it just gets worse. But I hit my irons more in this way and hit lower draw. Gonna go try this.

Really good advice, but it seems like watching the shots side-on instead of from behind would have been more illustrative.

I'm a 4.9 Index and guilty of this. Not over reliance of a higher lofted club as such but more a fear of hitting the shot fuller. As a result it doesn't get there and I'm faced with longer putts. I've been working on a lower shot to run out a bit more and this video is keeping me in focus. Thanks James.

I love this and even bring it further out for shots 80-90 out…choke down 7,8 iron make that toe down long putting stroke for consistent accurate distance control.

James been watching your content for a very long time. A lot of your content has been great. I also appreciate you a lot for numerous videos that have taught me things regardless if they applied to me or not... But recent content could be taught better. Some of the uploads feeling like you just throwing them out for the sake of it. Not explained very well technically or providing extra "feels" examples for different people that may need different cues or triggers. Just feels like you just uploading for the sake of it. Hope to see you pop off this year you've been great otherwise

What does a skilled golfer know about the real issues behind poor golf? Nothing. By the time these top instructors were fifteen, they were pushing scratch--better golfers than most of us will ever be. They have zero experience with what it is like to learn the game as an adult who maybe hits the course at most thirty rounds a year, with very limited practice time. They coach as if you were spending two hours practicing, five days a week. Go shoot an 85 with 40 putts a few times and talk to me about patience.

I got so good at these because these bunker conditions were all my local courses had! Just recently, they filled all the bunkers at my home course with SUPER fluffy sand, and it took me a good amount of time to adjust. RIP my cheap muni bunker game.

James do you find players who are brought up on Bermuda have difficulties playing on bent grass because it requires a different technique and it makes it difficult for them to learn bent grass chipping methods?
@jasonkelley61855 ай бұрын
Where do you hit? Just as far behind it as a normal bunker shot?
@ben-vf5 ай бұрын
Probably play it more like a chip shot otherwise you bounce into the back of the ball and be very unhappy.

A chip you can let it roll and on a pitch is used to get over something and get more spin.
