Hello, is it necessary to rinse off the mordant solution before putting the raffia and jute in the dye bath? Thank you.

Hello! Thank you for watching. We did not rinse our fibers after the milk mordant bath but you certainly can if you’d like to. Happy crafting!

I work with public school kinders but we do many many Waldorf-influences crafts and handwork bits. Cannot wait to try this

Thank you! This will help me so much this year as I teach the purl stitch! I was feeling intimidated but this is exactly the story I need!❤

Nice! I have a question about the eyelets. Do you cast on an even number of stitches at the beginning to make the eyelets even?

Hi Elizabeth, I think this was the number one helpful hint for my students last year! I tried measuring the same way for crochet and found it to be 6 x’s the length of the row (or more). Do you have any advice for students crocheting stripes?

Thank you for sharing this video. I was curious to know whether the ball is completely made up of wool or something is there inside…

They're wool laundry balls to put into dryer. Pure wool ball as I know.
