As of December 2021, some estimates suggest that there are around 20,000 polygamous marriages in the UK, with numbers potentially increasing. Under UK's immigration law, you can bring your second/ third/ forth wife to the UK permanently.

Been a few years since I last saw The Wurzels in concert; it was at the club, opposite the train station in Chester. Before that, two other times, both at farms in Shropshire: in Baschurch and Little Ness. So grateful for the time I grew up in, that I got the chance to listen, and in some cases, see... so many greats! I am a Cider Drinker and proud of it... Oooh Agghhh 😁😁

To think i first met Adge in Weston-in-Gordano when he was drinking cider with the farmer in the sheds next to our house; the farmer being Spriggs. I think the year was 1965 or 66. Soon after there was the British/World cider drinking championships just outside the village at Redcliff in Sept 1967-- Adge and the Wurzels were there. Then there was Pill up the road where we rented grass keep, played darts that was steeped in the Wurzels as was the The Black Horse in Clapton in Gordano; brother used to work as a barman there. All seems like just a few years ago.

Gotta luv the Brissie Brethren.. I’m Somerset born n bred, on the Somerset levels. Brissie was always more important than us cabbage cutters from Somerset, but history does not always tell the real truth or story…early 1700s over one million tonnes of coal dug by hand from Somerset coalfields…World first Caisson Lock invented and operated on the Somersetshire Coal Canal… The Worlds first Sprocket and Chain invented in Somerset at Frome by the Fussels . Roofing tiles and Bathbricks and normal house bricks invented and sent throughout the world…

WOW!!!! I didn't know this band done this song way back in the 70's. I thought they were a new group doing tongue-in-cheek ACDC and Gunners covers only!!! - OOPS!!!! Should delete this comment. I was actually thinking of The Heimatdamisch band.
