Kids don't like yugioh now because the games broken and well to fast paced. Kids want to be engaged with back and fourth battles. Not sitting there for 20 mins while their opponent runs through their deck in 1 turn and beat them. That's no way to capture a Kids attention and keep them engaged. The toxic players who absolutely love the new modern yugioh will deny this but its a FACT. the games rubbish now compared to old. It's nothing to do with prizes. It's all about the fun of the game which has been removed. It's only older players that complain about the prizes being rubbish. That doesn't mean the game is dying though because of prizes, it's purely because Konami have destroyed their game to the point new Kids won't be able to get into it compared to Pokemon TCG which is simpler and more fun. Easier to get them to engage. So all you toxic players who want 300 special summons in turn 1 for the win. Well done

This isnt just a yugioh problem. Its many other games aswell. Exactly what he said with the younger generation just not playing and while tournaments and events numbers may be going up local play is down.

Pure yubel is a pretty fair deck. The only card I can see getting hit (and i hope gets hit) is Phantom of yubel.

Hate to say it but id love that. One throne and one phantom is all I need for a yubel package in my deck of choice. If they get hit, I see the prices dropping more than they already have.

I don't think Beatrice should get hit, it's never been a problem up until now. Rank 6's should NOT be this easy to make

Ngl been having fun test playing Fiendsmith Evil Hero it makes D/D/D rank 6 way to easy.

They’re additional 1 card starters and extenders that make the end board stronger with recovery. Heroes now have a grind game. Don’t underestimate these additions. Even if there are more bricks there’s more discards for combos. It’s less likely to clog up the opening hand with evil hero cards since most want to occupy the GY anyway.

Neos Fusion can ignore summoning condition, so we can summon new Neos Lord if we have a monster on the board. Also Neos Lord has a dark attribute... so now we can summon him after Fusion Destiny i think we can try 3x Fusion Destiny + 3x Neos Fusion in the main? DPE + Neos Lord is pretty solid or?

I the evil heroes support is fire. It a small engine when you put the right cards in. My debate is whether we should be play 40 or 60 cards since now we have so many starters.

hero cant be the new tempai....tempai take very little skill to play....you are basically immune to handtraps with field spell...you just combo in battle phase so you are immune to nib....the deck plays and otk through shifter.....its pretty much a deck for glue eaters that cant play real combo decks cause they dont know how to play around/through handtraps.

This hero support is the most exited I’ve been to make a deck in a decade. The variety of ways this archetype can be played is what makes it my favorite, while being fair. I could care less if it’s meta or not. I’ve been rewatching the English sub for GX recently so the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Neos Lord is gonna change EVERYTHING for Neos decks. It will allow Neos decks to use the Fusion Destiny package, bc Neos Lord is a Dark. If you have both Fusion Destiny and Neos Fusion in hand, you can play Fusion Destiny first, bring out DPE, and then play Neos Fusion, send Neos from Deck and a Effect monster you control to the GY and bring out Neos Lord.

The primary problem with Yugioh is that *Yugioh is a bad game* and all of the other problems like pricing and prizing are strictly secondary. People don't want to play it because it's shit. The game is obtuse, confusing, unintuitive, overly long, full of ruling nightmares, frustrating non-games, bullshit card design, powercreep, etc. If you tried to show and teach Yugioh to a kid, they'd think it's a dumb game that isn't fun. If you told them how much a single top tier deck costs, they'd tell you "I could buy a PS5 and multiple games why would literally anyone spend that much on cardboard?". If you had them pull cards from packs, they'd be unable to pull a complete archetype without a structure deck but also unable to build a non-archetypal deck out of the cards they do pull. Then they finally go to play a game and they watch someone else move cards around from zone to zone meaninglessly for 20 minutes then lose. Why play Yugioh when MtG is a better game and Pokemon respects your time and money?

it's a children's card game. There absolutely should not be any cash prizes. What are you trying to teach children? Gambling? It's a pay to win game. there's barely any skill in it. If it was a skill-based game like sports, then sure, maybe, but a pay to win game? Absolutely not. That's gambling.
