I've seen some under mount sinks that get gross where the countertop and sink meet. Is one revel easier to keep clean than the other? This is something I had never considered until now.

I bought a 4 year old house and the polished chrome bathroom hardware had been badly marred because previous owner has been using an abrasive scouring pad to clean the faucets. So, I vote NO on barkeepers friend or any other cleaner that uses abrasives. I don’t know how messy people let their sink areas get, but it just seems like overkill to scrub/scour your faucet and put scratches on them. In my experience, you just need a microfiber cloth and a high quality ph balanced cleaning liquid solution and your faucets will be immaculate like the day you bought them. Worst case scenario hard water stains can usually be removed with a magic eraser sponge.

I have a friend who converted a PEX crimp tool into a PEX press tool by carefully filing off the end of the tool. Does anyone know of a video of somebody doing this? I asked my friend to share with me how he did it but he's not reliable on replying back in a timely manner.

If you're not worried about water flow restriction or installation speed or cost, why not use PEX B? When is it better to use PEX B over PEX A?

Question! Have you ever seen a fridge/freezer combo that was side by side but the freezer was just as wide as the fridge? Often when my husband and I look at appliances, the freezer is a third the size as the fridge side and bending down to the freezer just makes my knees want to give out. Any recommendations? Also, do you recommend fridges that are flush behind a wall or is that more of a mold/mildew hazard than anything?

Yeah, that was not helpful. Read the manual you say. Well, the manual says not to use acid like citric or vinegar, no abrasives, etc. So how exactly are you supposed to remove lime scale from hard water. They just decided to say... you're on your own.

I like bar keepers friend personally

@@RemodelMedia Yeah, well if a magic eraser is too abrasive then barkeepers friend is too... also considering BKF is oxalic acid based I'm sure Toto wouldn't approve. That's what I mean. Someone needs to come out with some scientific testing and NAME products to clean these toilets that have lime buildup. Ok, so Toto has updated their FAQ about hard water buildup. This is the first time I am seeing from them that you can use full strength vinegar to remove lime. WHAT'S THE SAFEST WAY TO REMOVE HARD WATER STAINS FROM MY CEFIONTECT PRODUCT? The tips below are for any TOTO china product (including CEFIONTECT): Hard water marks are composed of minerals from the water supply. They will not dissolve using bleach or detergents. It takes a slightly acidic cleaner like vinegar or a lime dissolving cleaner to remove the minerals. Neither of these cleaners will harm the CEFIONTECT finish. You can use vinegar or lime dissolving cleaner and a non-scratch scour pad made for porcelain. Allow a little contact time to allow the cleaner to dissolve the buildup. If the stain at the waterline in your toilet bowl persists, you may need to remove some water from the bowl. Then reapply the vinegar or lime dissolving cleaner AT FULL STRENGTH. Removing the water prevents the solution from being diluted.

30 minute wait? Kinda defeats the purpose of a microwave, eh? 😂 This may sound harsh but, having a childless home, I really hate child-proof appliances. But, I guess this one at least gives you the option to bypass it (I wish they ALL did). Having worked for years in retail, I know you are right... the average consumer will be baffled and p!$$ed off that their brand new microwave won't open as it's holding their food hostage and they're getting hangrier and hangrier... Hopefully they have good customer service call centers.

Hey there! My husband and I are in the process of choosing countertops for our kitchen. In another video, you mentioned Lowe’s having some sensa granite on sale. It is back on sell. I like the Siberia. Have you seen that in a kitchen? Is another name for Sensa Siberia Pitaya? It gets confusing! The delicatus is pretty but is probably too busy for my small kitchen.

Please help- I need to get a good alcove tub for my remodel from home depo. I tried the delta 500, i was shocked when i unboxed it was so cheap like paper. I returned it. Then i rdere kohler elmbrook but the drain kit has a cable, and i read that if that fails you have to remove the tub. I cant believe how many Kohler tubs in the $1000 range has poor reviews. I really liked the Kohler Underscore, so pretty but read comments how light spots and prine to cracking? rediculous.

Question! Which sink mount would you recommend to someone with a bad mold allergy? I imagine most people apply sealer to the sink so water doesn't get into the cabinets drawers below, or is this a matter of avoiding wood cabinets altogether with any sink?
