Hey Yram. I understand it’s challenging when you feel empty and hopeless. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is remaining patient under challenge. He has a great plan for you. Ask God for patience and to help you understand the challenge you’re currently facing. When he helps you understand why you feel the way you do, he can help you overcome it. I don't want to get into a debate and I respect your choice of faith. However, I am yet to find someone who fully understood the Catholic faith, loved it and wrote this type of comment. Making assumption that he is not a Christian because he is Catholic? This is actually ironic when you consider the history of the Church, including the early Church fathers and what the Reformers actually believed vs what it is believed now by certain Christian communities. I am a Roman Catholic myself and I love my faith. I am glad he is enjoying the Church as well. My question to you is: have you ever had a discussion with a Catholic about their faith? I am tired of every single Christian denomination trying to 'convert' us as if we were abnormal. Why can't we enjoy our faith in peace? I know the Bible says Christians will be persecuted but this is tiring.

@@Dominique-ql1gr Hi there, I’m a little perplexed by your assertion that I said he wasn’t a Christian, which I didn’t. In fact, I said people could indeed find Jesus/the gospel within the Catholic context. However, what I said is if they continue to sincerely seek God (aka grow in their faith), He will lead them out of that organization/denomination (and all denominations since there is only one church and one Bible). One need only read Matthew 16:15-17 to understand that Jesus meant He would build His church on Peter's revelation/the truth that He is the Christ (not on Peter/the subsequent invention of the institution of the papacy). Obviously, Jesus is the Rock/the cornerstone (see 1 Corinthians 10:4; 1 Corinthians 3:11; 1 Peter 2:4-7). Further, the office of the Catholic priest is not biblical as all believers are part of the royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), can go directly to God (Hebrews 4:16; 1 John 1:9), and can confess their sins to any other believer (James 5:16). Also, my comment was hardly persecution-it was very polite (and I posted it in obedience to the Lord). Martin is totally free to disregard it if he likes. God bless you!

@@Dominique-ql1gr I was brought up a Catholic but I became born again and gave my life to Christ when I was 21 years old. Catholicism is a religion. I tell you this with love because in the Bible. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between us and the Father, you do not need to go to the priest when you have sinned you simply get on your knees wherever you are and cry out to the Lord and He will hear you!
