Im a man with a disability living in lansing and the conditions in Michigan are so dickensian in its approach towards us that I had to argue with ER Doctors at Sparrow over multiple visits to get a damn rabies vaccine after a racoon encounter. Symbolic gestures are great and all. But if we could maybe address the underline cultural design that directly impacts the bodily safety and human dignity of my community as well that would be so great.
