For so long, I took Eddie's character for granted. Don't get me wrong, this has always been my favorite iteration of Eddie/Venom, but I never looked at it from his perspective. An aspiring photographer in love with the girl of his dreams is granted the opportunity for the job he's been working toward his whole life, only to be thrust into a world of super beings, aliens, revenge, and eventual death at the hand of one bad decision on his end. Really depressing when you pick it apart.

Known JD my whole life, but didn't start paying attention until 4 years ago. Now they're my favorite band of all time. Oh, and haven't you noticed that Ian Curtis loosely resembles Topher Grace? My Mom's been telling me this since we saw Spider-Man 3 in the theater, and I can't unsee it.

Taking off nostalgia glasses watching this in theaters again, I realized how silly the retcon was with Ben’s killer. Crazy how such simple an edit can improve the pace and consistency of the story, once again bravo.

The way I see it, Sandman put the taxi in Venom's web once he finished building it.

@Geletgamer Maybe he built the web before he kidnapped MJ, and once he arrived at the site, Sandman just put her up there, and then the news came on scene. That's the most logical explanation to me.

I don't have the link itself, but it's pretty easy. All you really have to do is type "Hasbro.com/Spiderman" and browse all the saves in 2007.

I had completely forgotten about the other 2 Hasbro SM3 flash games until I saw actual gameplay of them again, but this one I’ve always kept hazy memories of for some reason. I kept expecting to see it in one of those spider-man flash game compilations, so it’s interesting to see that it’s currently still lost.

I was too young to fully remember SM3 back in the day only remembering seeing ads for it and toys too. But I feel like the overwhelming marketing was too overhyped that it made people completely turn on it once it came out. Even if people liked it they were overshadowed by the insufferable amount of hate that SM3 got afterwards. If the marketing wasnt so aggressive things might of played out differently. I love SM3 and I'm happy it's now gotten the love that it deserves. Even if I wasn’t there at the time to get into it because I was too young at the time to see it. I can appreciate it so much now as a adult and see what the movie was trying to tell going into it blind and making my own opinions of it without any previous knowledge about it.

Great job with this, you did an awesome summarization of the zeitgeist at the time. I was 12 and thriving with all the SM3, it really did encompass so much of my life at that age and was there for all of it. I feel thankful for growing up with the movies and remember the hype for all of them and you're right as big as the first two felt, the marketing made 3 feel even larger.

Yeah, I just learned that this song does use the same melody from the unused love theme, I made a video about it a day or two ago. I used to hate the song, but now I hold it in same regard as the three songs in the credits and the whole soundtrack. I was at work doing dishes, just listening to the Editor's Cut to make time pass faster, and the more I heard the tune, I realized I recognized it, then put the connection together a minute later.
