Nice video. I do like those door handles over the paddle ones that the EV 6 has. I think I like the regular old non aerodynamic handles best, but these a cool. I also like the steering wheel and the controls on it. Nice scroll wheels and real buttons. Vehicle to load just another way Kia and Hyundai are hitting it out of the park with their EV’s.

Ok B mode the regenerative braking is in action to regenerate de battery ?
@EVTipsAndTricks9 күн бұрын
yes. In general the car will try to regenerate the battery on "braking". In B mode it does it more because the minute you lift the foot off the accelerator it assumes you want to decelerate.

dumb question perhaps but I have zero EV experience - can you plug this into a normal wall socket (even if it will take like 30-40 hours)?
@EVTipsAndTricks28 күн бұрын
Yes you can but it will take a very long time
@NivNYCАй бұрын
EVs slow charging down from 80-100 %. The closer you get to 100 the slower it gets. To my understanding this is to protect the battery. This is why they quote 10-80 % when saying fast charging. Also your supposedly not supposed fo charge the car to 100 % often.

Hey, picked up my EV9 2 days ago (btw, I have pebble grey too, it's slick color!) my version does not have few options you mentioned there, for example I cannot put "EV" under Favorites on the Navigation panel (below infotainment screen), I can't find that locking/unlocking option either. But I can set proper profile picture for driver's profile (it will fetch picture set in Kia Connect), but your video is 3 months old so maybe this option will come to your car via some OTA. Btw I am from Central Europe.

It is a 220V L2 charger. I bought it for my ID4. This video talks a lot more about it kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pa6YrZt4vb_PoJc.htmlsi=1ZP8QKUSzS29UzOK . Because I do not have the AMP, even at 220V it is not charging as fast as I like, but I get 100 miles of range overnight.

100% agree with your first 3 points. Not deal breakers, but could be better. I don't mind the center console as it has lots of storage under it accessible from the 2nd row. I find I am able to store everything I need up front under the arm rest, down on the floor, in the driver's door, and in the glove box l. I don't mind the shiny buttons at all.

I just walk away from my Tesla Y and it locks itself. From 2.6 year I haven’t used any key , why the hell we need key fobs when my mobile is the key. From last few days I was driving my sister KIA Telluride and it just locks the vehicle after a min even other passengers are in the car and then seat honking. Jelly pi***ed with that. Even can’t fill the gas, every min I had to unlock the vehicle. Never see this crap in any other vehicle.

I also want auto lock. Someone mentioned it is available but not in the US model? I am not sure.

@rudiemur I have EV9 for two months now. For example, when cameras and sensors (including radar) are blocked by snow, you will receive 9 warnings. Each working will be mentioned in the instrument cluster and after there will amber warning light with number of active warnings. Using method I described you can review each warning separately. If there is only one warning, same method must be used.
