Psalm 69 22 May the table set before them become a snare; may it become retribution and[b] a trap. 23 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever. 24 Pour out your wrath on them; let your fierce anger overtake them. 25 May their place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in their tents. 26 For they persecute those you wound and talk about the pain of those you hurt. 27 Charge them with crime upon crime; do not let them share in your salvation. 28 May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous.

It has been over ten years since I was in Israel. Most of my cab drivers were Jewish and I did discuss Torah with several of them. I can so hear one of them make that comment. .. I actually have a special love for Israeli Taxi drivers, One helped my wife find the perfect doctor when she was in need. Another one helped us with a personal problem and even invited us to his home for dinner...

No. I discard the Christian interpretation of Job. If you notice, in Job, Satan is in heaven with G-d. G-d gives Satan instructions. Satan follows them. He doesn't work against G-d.. he follows His commands.

Repeatedly in the Old Testament, God describes the Promised Land as “a land flowing with milk and honey” (Exodus 3:8; Numbers 14:8; Deuteronomy 31:20; Ezekiel 20:15). This poetic description of Israel’s land emphasizes the fertility of the soil and bounty that awaited God’s chosen people. The reference to “milk” suggests that many livestock could find pasture there; the mention of “honey” suggests the vast farmland available-the bees had plenty of plants to draw nectar from.

You are missing that the covenant of salt was made with DAVID and for his seed While the Priest worked with the salt God did not make a covenant with them on salt. Phineas received a covenant part of which an eternal covenant of his seed to be High Priests. I just saw another one deciding the Covenant of Peace is the covenant of salt. I am not familar with the quote you gave from Rashi (Rambam) I think you are correct in the salt was a preservative but also a disinfectant of germs so that these offerings could have had germs from the priest using the same knife the meat could have fallen on the ground which does not remove it from being an offerings They the priests would have wiped off dirt or straw but the meat still could be contaminated So that at very least the priests would eat of these offerings or on the day of atonement entire families and servants would eat and if all got E.coli the salt sowed over the offering would have in the fat run down the sides and under the meat cleansing all

Jesus was anointed, pouring out of the Spirit, Jesus was anointed with the Spirit. The Jewish people accepted Jesus, not the Jews who said they were but were not due to sin.

2 Esdras 6:41-42 [41]Upon the second day thou madest the spirit of the firmament, and commandedst it to part asunder, and to make a division betwixt the waters, that the one part might go up, and the other remain beneath. [42]Upon the third day thou didst command that the waters should be gathered in the seventh part of the earth: six parts hast thou dried up, and kept them, to the intent that of these some being planted of God and tilled might serve thee.

Too dry??? G-d forbid! I was thoroughly engrossed in the הרצאה ! Thank you for sharing this with us. My initial question is - is the Shulchan Aruch a single volume? It seems that inviting commentary on the "concise summary" of the law would quickly turn this into a multi-volume work. Secondarily to that question, is there a version of this work available in Hebrew-English?

I have a hard time with this because people need confidence and should be proud of what God has helped them with their true design. How can you be "humble" and proud of what God has done for you. In other terms isn't telling people your accomplishments praising God for helping and expressing God's great work. Wouldn't being humble being acknowledgement of God in your accomplishments? If we don't accomplish great things then God's work will not be done. So you still need to do the work. What's wrong with talking about it?
