That speed and power is amazing. Not to mention the amazing camo below the surface. You can’t even see the shark till it’s too late.

Another 🔥video Rich. Your Florida stuff has been great. I do miss your Long Island stuff though. You and Skinner were the ones that started my fire for fishing. Now my girlfriend thinks I’m crazy for hitting the beach at 3am lol.

In all honesty, two years ago we were fishing on a charter out of Key West, just my sister and I, the time before that we went out with a different capt. & boat, I WAS THE ONLY ONE CATCHING BIG ENOUGH FISH, AS "KEEPERS!!" YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING, SOOO, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM.... I HAD TO SHARE MY CATCHES "EQUALLY.., WITH THE OTHER CHARTERS ON THE RIG!! ANYWAY, the capt. for just my sis and I, set us up with fairly light tackle, he said that we PROBABLY won't be into "big fish," w/it being the end of August and all!! We hit both sides, Atl. & Gulf, we did alright, but no keepers, except for a mahi, that spit the hook just before hittin the net!!! Anyway we came back to the bridge side, by Big Pine... chucked the dinky tackled rod and line and thought, if we get something decent, it may just break this entire rig.. 💥 THEN *BAMM,* 💥😨💥🦈💥😲 FOR THE NEXT TWO AND A HALF HOURS, IT WAS EXHAUSTING.... even with a belt rig!! I never really gained much on the fish I was fighting, THEN FOR 💩's & 😆's... it decided to come up and say hi... IT WAS ROUGHLY A "110-130 POUND" GOLIATH GROUPER!! About three feet from the boat, he looked up at us, rolled over and said...... *"EFF THIS SHIT.... I'M OUTTA HERE!!!"* A quick jerk from his head, and a wizzzing noise past my ear as the line broke and it was gone, I WAS SPENT, WENT HOME WITH NOTHING BUT A RECEIPT FOR THE CHARTER AND DINNER AT *THE "YELLOW FIN BAR AND REST!!!"* 🤦🏼♂️ OiiiiiiiiYYYY" *P.S. REALLY GOOD PEEPS AT THE YELLOW FIN!!!!!*
@TheRealBKSchyster5 күн бұрын
*DAMNNN, IN ANOTHER TWO OR THREE YEARS, (IF GOLIATH MAKES IT THAT FAR...) IT'LL BE BIG ENOUGH TO SWALLOW THE PIN FISH, SWALLOW YOU, AND IF HUNGRY ENOUGH, SWALLOW THE KAYAK TOO!!!* 😨

Just wondering? I fish in the keys and we have to go way out. You guys catch Mahi in 80 to 120’feet of water? That’s kind of shallow isn’t?
