I have the iPhone 12 Pro, but I’m gonna wait for the iPhone 17 Pro Max I think…. The only negative point of my 12 Pro is the battery health, but the rest works perfectly!

well i have an ipad pro m1 with a combo touch case on it, not gonna lie I trully enjoy the logitech experience, however there are a few things I still struggle with like that tab you have to pull to hold your ipad in some specific tables or places it doesnt fit well and you gotta manage a way of using it in a comfortable angle, the ipad pro also doesnt fit perfectly inside the case like your ipad ten, on the other hand the cloth-like material is way much more durable than the material used on magic apple keyboards, and now logitech has made the same decision. great review by the way.

It’s a bummer that Logitech changed the material. Might be a deal breaker for me. The material on the previous Combo Touch cases were extremely robust and felt great.

Very much appreciate this review. I have both the Combo Touch and the Folio Touch for older iPads. I love both of them but one thing they have in common is that stand that folds out. Something about that stand just seemed like it would wear out rather fast considering how it felt. You're the ONLY reviewer I was able to find that directly talked about it. So glad to get some information on someone that's used it for years and can report back. Thank you for that! And, for the record, both the Folio and Combo Touch cases are very good and solid. =)

Excellent video and information! I was looking for something on the new Logitech case. I have the new 13” iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard. It replaced my 12.9 M1 iPad Pro. I bought both the Magic Keyboard and the Logitech keyboard for the M1. I used the Logitech for awhile and loved the extra protection, but ultimately I switched back to the Magic Keyboard because you can pick up the iPad and keyboard and carry it (while it’s open) around in one hand like a laptop. You don’t have to close it to move it or use two hands. That was a bigger deal to me than I expected. If I hadn’t gotten used to using the Magic Keyboard first, I’m sure I wouldn’t have noticed. The other thing is the extra port. That’s handy not just if the iPad’s port is being used, but also if the charger to plug into is on the opposite side of the iPad. As for extra protection, MOFT makes a great snap on case for the iPad Pro. You snap the iPad into the case and it magnetically sticks on the Magic Keyboard (as does the iPad without) and it docks the Apple Pencil too (while still allowing it to charge). You can also get a magnetic stand for the case so you can have the iPad stand alone similar to the Logitech case.

Love my Logi Combo for my M2 iPadPro - Except - I wish there was a way to separate the keyboard (still working) away from the iPad to have a more mobile version. Doesn’t sit on my lap and I’m laying on my couch. Mostly I’m at a desk but sometime I want to lay down on a couch while working….

Thanks for the great review and comparing the two... One concern I always have is neither of these tend to "securely" store the Pencil. Some cases (keyboard case combinations also) either don't have a pencil storage at all, or they try to use an elastic or rubber "loop" on the outside of the case that gets weak over time. Apple pushes their new Pencil Pro, so they should get on board and have their new Magic Keyboard securely (internally) store the Pencil.

I tried the smaller Combo Touch and the stand didn't extend that far (1:48) for a good drawing surface. Maybe I was being too gentle with it, it was an older model, the smaller model doesn't have that option, etc. Awesome video, thanks for going in depth on these two cases, like footprint size.

If this is your only device. The Pro Max seems like a good deal. I already have a MacBook Pro and IPad Pro. The Pro max is huge in your jeans pockets. Super uncomfortable to sit down with. I always had to plan on carrying the Pro Max. The regular Pro is more ergonomic and convenient. If you don’t have an IPad though, then I guess the bigger screen is nice. 🤷🏻‍♂️

WHY make the moon 🌙 top right button a DnD-mode and not lock screen? Thats a dealbreaker… Also why no function to turn off the mousepad? Its very annoying when i put my wrists down while typing and the cursor starts messing things up

Hey Jerry, I appreciate you taking the time to review these two boards. They all seem pretty similar to me in terms of what I'm looking for. But which one is better for traveling? For instance, if I'm planning on using it on my lap to catch up with some friends or family while I am out or type some emails, etc., would you recommend either of them? And keep making great videos, they're really appreciated.

The sides protection with logitech is extremely important, if the iPad falls while attached to the keyboard either open or closed, the tendency to fall on the side is 100% which has > 90% chance of breaking the screen (even with screen protector) basically what happens is the iPad falls on one of the 2 top angles & bends the frame inside which strains the screen and breaks it, when that happens in a tandem OLED display that’s gonna be painful

My only concern about logi is that the trackpad freezes occasionally and you need to detach and reattach the keyboard to make it work again. Returned it eventually when I had the M1 Air. Wonder if they fixed it

Thanks for the great review. After watching it I headed over to Apple to purchase the Combo Touch for my iPad Pro 13” M4 with Nano-texture glass. However, saw the following in the product information description: “This Combo Touch Keyboard Case is not designed for use with iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) with nano-texture glass.” Any idea why?

I think this is just apple poeple logic... Frist off, the Studio display isn't a $1600 monitor, it's a $2300 monitor (to the same spec with matte display and adjustable stand) so it's not "just pony up the extra $300 for a matte finish", you have to come up with an extra $700. Why so expensive? Because Apple wastes money on s*** you don't need. I literally don't care if my monitor is made of a single piece of milled Aluminium, or the stand adjusts so smoothly, I'm going to set it up once and leave it there. All that bougie stuff is nice for a phone or a laptop, but completely pointless for a desktop monitor. It's the same deal with the box, do I care if the "unboxing experience" is "better"? Nope. It literally doesn't matter unless your job is opening product boxes. For people who are actually going to use the thing, what box it comes in is doesn't matter 1 bit. Neither does the 10 min set up time tbh, you only have to do that once and then you're done.

I gave this video a dislike because it is disingenuous. As someone who briefly tried the Apple Studio Display, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is the best display on the market and has no comparison - especially with MacOS. The *only* disadvantage it has is costs. But retailers have placed this display on markdown over the past few months and it can be found for an extremely expensive - but not as expensive as it was - price. Now that Microsoft is focused on AI and has a roadmap to introduce spyware into Windows 11, I'm seriously contemplating returning to Mac and trying to make it my daily driver. I'm typing this on a M2 Mac Mini right now and I would like to get back to owning a Mac Studio again. I'll probably wait for the next version to get released and start the process all over again. But, in the interim, it is best to be honest with viewers. There is NO OTHER MONITOR that outperforms the Studio Display. If people can't afford to upgrade, so be it.

This is one of the worst comments I have ever received on my channel and it makes no sense. You either don’t undertsand or didn't even watch my video that explains why I love the studio display and think it is the best option for Mac users, but that I can also understand that others may have other priorities, like a high refresh rate or multi-device compatibility. Plus, the fact that you know a Studio Display is the best after using it "briefly" when I have owned it for more than 2 years is beyond laughable.
