I have 3 week old baby chicks and ducklings together. One of my chicks has become ill. Will the ducklings be ok if i treat the water with cordid?
@thehappyhermit01Ай бұрын
Mow it high. Mow less when temps exceed 90 and let it go dormant during hot, dry conditions. Not rocket science. I've been spraying lawns for well over 30 years and have suspended treatments many times over the years to prevent damage to my customers lawns during extremes in heat and drought.
@AnonymousGameWardenАй бұрын
Anything that isn't rocket science, is not rocket science lmao. That's fairly obvious bud. Clearly it's not as straight forward as you think if there's hundred of lawn/turf channels, and thousands more videos on the topic!

@@thehappyhermit01 you are indeed not right bud lmao. I'm sure at least half of them are useless, but there's plenty of creators that are adding value and helping people by educating them. If it were so easy, why would you have 3 decades of experience spraying lawns? Someone clearly paid you because it wasn't easy enough for them to want to do it or they didn't know how to do it correctly. Bahahahah use some logic and a tiny bit of critical thinking bud

The only thing that the lawn is missing is total destruction. Wasting money, time and resources on growing grass is another stupid thing that people are doing because other people are doing. We are good at pointless mimicking.

Will this kill Bermuda grass? Please say yes. OSU did a study including this and said it worked well, but that was in 2022, before the recipe/ingredient change.
@MikeUsrySouthland2 ай бұрын
It will kill Bermuda Grass - especially the parts above ground. The stolons beneath the ground are more challenging to kill, but we see good results. The formula changed around some "minor" ingredients that make it stick, absorb, etc. We FINALLY figured out all that and feel good about the current formula. I appreciate your interest!

this kind of textbook talk about ph and two simple examples of cliche soils does not do justice to the topic. non farmland soils can exhibit lots of differnt problems, including a lack of calcium whilst having a neutral or even high ph. calcium does leach readily and is not in high quantities in every soil, but you do need about 70% base saturation calcium for optimal plant growth. which is when ph takes a back seat and you need to apply calcium, even in very strong form (hydrated lime) to re-establish good tilth and nutrient takeup. you can add tonnes of compost/manure/fertilizer/micros but if calcium is lacking, the plants will always be lacking. even acid loving plants will do fine with hydrated lime tilled into soil, when calcium is sorely lacking.

Thanks so much for adding this info! This video was not meant to be exhaustive on the topic of soil pH, but just give introductory information for beginners. We think it accomplished that well. Thanks again for elaborating on the topic!

clever ways the world comes up with to steal your money. "buy our industrial chemicals!" natural doesnt cure but temporarily! this may be true but enough natural will boost their immune systems till they can fight it off without the need for harsh chemicals that just ensure their immune system is weaker for next encounter. natural is the way to Go!

@Southlandorganics7 ай бұрын
That's not what we're saying at all. We're saying that if you choose to give your chickens grass clippings, it's best to give them mixed in with food or treats rather than to let them gorge on as much as they want, as this can cause blockages in their guts.
