All of them are top 10-12 coaches in the league, I think it’s fair to have the tie breaker be playoff success. Stefanski is an excellent coach but so are the other 3 in the division

6 sacks was 65th in the NFL in 2023, 10.5 was 17th. Sacks aren’t everything but it’s not like those numbers are changing the argument here when the Texans and Jags had a guy each had a guy with 16+ sacks last year

Josh Allen is great yes, but you’ve got Danielle Hunter AND WAJ on each edge. That’s is INSANE. Outweighs the fact that Josh Allen is the better singular edge.

@@Black4Cook and Armstead doesn’t play edge does he? And sacks aren’t all you’re looking for from an edge rusher, WAJ was one of the best run stoppers in the NFL last year, and was ranked 3rd in the NFL in pass rush win rate as a rookie also ranked second in run stop win rate. Sacks are great and all, but they’re too far and few between to judge an edge off of them alone.

@@OSG_Graced its for the context if you look at the teams overall sack number. The edges were great but the DTs not. Armstead doesnt play edge but he will take on a lot of double teams which will help the edges to become even stronger. If you have 0 pessures from the middle the qb always know where to go if you are only able to get sacks from the edges.

@@Black4Cook this list specifically is ranking them by position group not as a whole. And I doubt Armstead will draw double teams from Allen, that’s more than likely not going to happen.

I think you have to rank Richardson higher because he’s a dual-threat. They both have big arms, maybe Levis is a better passer but he wasn’t good in the 8-9 games he played last year. Richardson wasn’t great either, but he made up for it on the ground. We’ll see how he looks after the shoulder injury, but he’ll still be able to run

At the end of the day I want a QB that can stand back there, read a defense and throw darts, just like all the great ones do. Dual Threat? Who cares. That's why we got RB's

I put jax at 1. Last season they had the best sack duo in the league with Allen and Walker but 0 production from the Dt position. Guess what they added Armstead and Hamilton is finally back healty (missed a lot of game because of a off field injury and never played healty) Jax D-line have the potential to be Nr.1 in the entire NFL.

Yeah no doubt should be division favorites and think they should be competing with the Chiefs, Ravens, Bils, Bengals, etc for the AFC crown

Jacobs is one year removed from being the best RB in the NFL as he had 4.9 YPC as the workhorse on a trash team and qas top 5 in yards over expected yards per carry. Montgomery is slightly above average in yards over expected yards and Gibbs is second to last in yards below expected yards per carry meaning he has more bad runs per carry than almost every single RB in the NFL but he has an occasional explosive run. Detroit has the best OL in the NFL and it makes their average RB's look elite. Also, go watch Marshaqn Lloyd, he looks like Barry Sanders in a larger body at the same height. He's by far the best athlete GB's ever had at RB but needs to resolve his pass blocking and fumblitis.
