I would like to know if Orange Plastic Academy has enrollment programmes for people who want to learn more about plastic recycling and 3D modelling. I say more because I have a degree in Geo-Informatics meaning I know about 3D modelling as a topic but can't seem wrap it out around how 3D modeling is used in your case. I have a recycling project in motion, where I turn recycling to new sports. I would like to tell you more about this exciting and unique project if you're interested. Because I have not seen any information about enrollment programmes on your website, I would sincerely like to suggest, Orange Plastic Academy to launch such a programme. I believe that there are lot of people like me interested in the exceptional work that you do. I have emailed you about it.

How on earth are you doing burn tests NOT under a ventilation hood? Do you know what happens when your audience burns PVC? This is pretty concerning.

Having used the procedures several times to identify plastics, I have to say there are big problems. Excepting the float test, they are destructive! What if you're trying to identify a plastic to repair an irreplaceable device?

why are aluminium moulds more expensive when steel is a cheaper material (most grades)
@Marlfox5702 ай бұрын
Steel molds are more expensive even though the material is cheaper because machining steel takes much longer than machining aluminum. Depending on the machine used to cut the mold and the mold design it can take 2-5+ times longer to machine steel than aluminum. There is also more programming time of the CNC machine needed because you have to be more careful with breaking cutters. So shops charge more for the labor and the machine time for steel molds.

Can you make the same video, but about bioplastics and how to identify them? Edit: To be more precise: Of course the process for identifying chemically identical plastics made from non-fossil raw materials is the same as for thier fossil based counterparts. I was thinking of degradable plastics and those non-degradable plastics that can be made conveniently and efficiently from the types of fresh biomass that is widely available.

Lost me very quickly. Its easy....This is a mold for a XXXX it cost $XXX. This is a mold for a XXXX its cost were higer due to XXXX with a total cost of $XXX. Give some examples, we are not after a quote, just a general idea as you video title intermates. Its not great that my first experience with your company was misleading.

What the h#$2 is "oil like substance" or "candlelike grease effect". Is PE and PP so expensive you couldn't find any to demo? That's all I came here for: Distinguish HDPE vs PP. Still not sure what I have.

@@reddragongaming8501 Who said anything about that word? And why would you think they did? There are multiple 4 letter words starting with "h" I can think of. Now back to the topic -- what is "candlelight grease effect" or "oil like substance". Found another video with some actual samples of HDPE and PP. I had PP, which welds similarly at similar temp to HDPE apparently, smells waxy when heated, but requires PP not PE to weld. Quite a learning experience.

gosh, it's not helping, sure, there are no single estimate, but, there will be an average cost. gosh, people only want to know, if it cost ~$1000, or ~$10.000 or ~$100.000. nobody want to steal any customer, or compete with anybody price. also, it's too much hassle to ask for quote.

Good video to illustrate how mold is designed and manufactured. About the injection mold life span, maybe you could get it more detailed, such as with different plastic material, what steel is more suitable to achieve certain life shots. Thanks for sharing.
