I soooo loved this. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I also had a C-section for my first birth. I am (now 2nd pregnancy to term) supposed to give birth end of June/4th of July. I have a new team: new Dr. doula and midwife, who empowered me too and I so feel your smuggle with your last Dr. Being told our pelvis is not fit is a horrible feeling. Birth is supposed to be a positive experience. Your story is one I will be thinking about in my birth for this BVAC, thank you Lorena :)

i experienced a miscarriage 5days ago, after being told end of December 2023 my baby that would've been 11weeks, i had lost baby at 9weeks. it was huge shock, ive never experienced this before. its so depressing😭. i was so happy, and then the cramping was so bad as the nurse said you can 3 choices ,pass naturally or a tablet or a mini op. i chose naturally and a week later it happened. They never told me how painful it would be i had such bad cramping for like 5hrs prior to the actual miscarriage taking place. then the clots that passed and blood that passed i think happened too quickly that after a few mins being on the toilet screaming i actually fainted. my head was spinning so much i couldnt hold my consciousness. The nurses didnt even tell me this could happen. Such a horrible experience. 😭
@LorenaBujard5 ай бұрын
I’m sorry you went through that. The cramps are like contractions. I remember having back pain and being very cold for a few hours as well. I think no matter your choice it’s not an easy process on top of the emotional distress. Nothing can prepare you for this 😔 Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sure others can read it and relate as well.

I’m so sorry this was your experience. I just had my first miscarriage today. It was extremely painful worse than my worst period for sure. I passed a lot of clots and tissue. I took 2 hydrocodone 5-325 and 2 500mg naproxen and still had discomfort but it was much more manageable.

I'm sorry and thank you for the video I am also waiting it out haven't had no bleeding yet just mild cramping. How much was you blood level the first time and at that many weeks were you able to see anything inside the yolk sac?
@LorenaBujard5 ай бұрын
I’m sorry. Sending you a big hug. 🩷🩷🩷 For me, I knew I miscarried because when I pee blood also came out. First time just a little and then it was more where I could see small blood clots (a Friday). I did not have any pain that day, very very light cramps. The doctor said that when we pee we relax our muscles and so that’s why I only release blood then. The next day by the afternoon I had more extreme cramps, I was shivering and had back pain. I want to say it was okay but Sunday morning was when I felt the most pain and blood release. It was like a very heavy flow but not alarming. By Sunday night, just sleeping the whole day I was feeling better. I was really anxious looking everytime in my pad and toilet to see if I saw a sac but nothing looked more than blood clots. I would’ve been just 8 weeks when I miscarried. I continue to bleed for several days, on and off until eventually I was all cleared.
@LorenaBujard5 ай бұрын
Know that it will be a long recovery, a few weeks, you have to be patient and I know the worst part is going to the doctor to get checked you’re all clear but I found it less traumatizing to just let me body heal on its own.

What significant impact do you really believe having an epideral had on your first child? Both babies came out perfectly healthy regardless of medication. You’re subjecting yourself to additional pain and discomfort with no real benefit to yourself or your child.

As a nurse, I do not have any judgment for women who are opposed to pain medication or trying to withhold from it as much as possible, however it honestly isn’t recommended and doesn’t really have any benefits. If you need the medication for pain both during and after birth, do not feel ashamed. Giving birth and healing from a c section are both painful experiences and minimizing your pain levels can significantly help both you and baby.

Thank you Lorena! I really appreciate you sharing your experience, especially from a Latina point of view. Could you share the weight, length of your babies? Mi biggest concern is that my first c section baby was over 8lbs and I’m little.
@LorenaBujard10 ай бұрын
Hi! It’s important to know our options and I’m glad this info can help someone. But in my heart of hearts I know it wasn’t because I was little or because there was something wrong with my body. My baby was “sunny-side up” and I had moved VERY little because of my shingles couple weeks before (was in bed rest) and the induction/epidural didn’t help with me getting movement to get this baby settle further down and position herself to come out. Do 100% movement, curb walking, squats, getting on all 4s from your sofa to reaching down to get baby moving into position. That worked for my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy. Getting adjusted too. I would say that if your body had no trouble dilating to 10cm then you can totally have a vbac. Find the right OB too, it’s never too late to change.Good luck mama!!!

It’s not loud compared to others I would say but also it does kinda shake when you’re at a really fast speed. I would recommend you visit a store and try it out for yourself to see if it’s okay for your space.

@LorenaBujard10 ай бұрын
The “cold pack” lunch box is the one we have and it just fits the omie. Some space is left width wide but not length wise when I rotate it to fit in the bog. I think the classic is smaller- I would check the description for size comparison. I will be sharing a new video next week giving some feedback on all our gear after a years use and show how each lunch box fit.

Hi there. Which size pottery barn lunch box did you get? Did you get the Pottery Classic lunch box or the Cold Pack one that looks a bit wider? Also which exact bentgo size did you use. I almost gave up on getting the pottery barn lunch bag because I wasn't sure the bento box would fit
@LorenaBujard10 ай бұрын
Hi! I bought her the “Mackenzie Cold Pack Lunch Box”. The ice pack actually ended opening up- might of been our fault, I can’t remember. The butterfly ice pack I bought also opened up- those were not worth it. The material was to thin. Lunch bag is great quality though. With the bentgo lunch box space is left on both sides (width, length). Linking box bellow to the exact one we use.

@LorenaBujard11 ай бұрын
Hi! Sorry for the late reply!! I don't think I can give you an answer because I don't know if you were induced or the reason why you had a c section in the first place to better advice you. I would seek out a 2nd doctor that advocate for vbacs or a doula and ask for their opinion bc they would most likely want you to have a vbac unless for x reason you really couldn't.

I have been diagnosed with missed miscarriage on 16th may , my fetus measuring 7 week but I was supposed to be 12 weeks now , no pain no bleeding, just brownish discharge, i am opting for pill , Just want to know how dud you manage the pain at home? Any remedy?
@LorenaBujard Жыл бұрын
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. My pain were like cramps that came in waves and it was better within 24 hours. I also remember having back pain. Just to give you a better idea, I started bleeding Friday midday and only had cramps/back pain starting Saturday that resolved by Sunday night. I didn’t take anything I just slept it off, stayed in bed bc it was hard to walk from the back pain and just took lots of teas- mainly bc I was breastfeeding and I never like to take medication while breastfeeding. I know two other ppl close that were recommended the pill and they experienced really bad pain. One of them did not get everything expelled and had a d&c so the pill doesn’t guarantee you will remove all tissue- not sure if your doctor mentioned all the scenarios to you so that you are aware. For me I started bleeding and just let it run it’s course and thankfully after a few weeks I was able to bleed everything out on my own. It was very long process or it felt like it, I almost opted for a d&c but finally on my 3rd obs appt I was checked and everything was cleared. I hope and pray everything will go okay for you. I know the physical aspect of this is like a kick in the stomach when emotionally it’s even harder but know you are not alone. Be gentle with yourself and it’s okay to grieve and feel all the emotions openly. ♥️♥️♥️

Does anyone know if it’s possible to shorten the wand? I’ve installed the blind in a window recess and it was the shortest drop available and it looks good when up. However when pulled down the wand is about 15cm too long to fit within the recess. The window drop is only half the length of the blind drop so it looks as though it may be possible to shorten the outer extension of the telescopic wand? Any ideas appreciated, thanks.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I had my 3rd baby 12 weeks ago and life has been busy with 3. My scar did not hurt at all while I was pregnant. However, between my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy I trained for a marathon and I remember I had a burning sensation when I removed my super sweaty clothes- probably happened like a couple of times and it itch a little. Not sure if you have done scar mobilization exercises or tissue desensitization but I recommend "expecting and empowered" IG account to learn more about caring for your c-section scar. It's never too late.
