I hate tang buckle strap. All of my rubber straps come on divers clasps like Strapcode or fold over clasps like Omega or butterfly clasps like DLUGS. Tang buckle straps are the worst. Try the size XL Glidelock version of this strap.

Very similar angle to the way the rubber bracelet sits on an Omega Seamaster. If the angle was much different the bracelet would be out of line with the lugs. Mine feels a bit tighter than my Omega. Will take a while getting used to mine now that I have put it on one of these. My wrists are about 7.25” plus and I am on the 3rd to last hole. Shame there are not more holes to give more options of size.

I remember seeing one of these in 1980 in a UK dealer's window. It was £310.

I put an Everest on my GMT which came with an oyster bracelet. Like them both but prefer the Everest for summer wear. Everest makes two sizes for both large and small wrists. Also perfect fit into the tangs as it’s molded for the specific Rolex model.

I just bought the SS Seamaster on Chrono24 yesterday. Can't wait.

1967 5513 here European bracelet. Not wearing it too much as it is a real collection piece. Love the lightly domed crystal. I don't like modern Rolex, but I love the 1967 5513 which I could afford, and the 1950s 6542 that I can't afford.

I can well understand not wearing a rolex in certain circumstances, like for example while going to look at something to buy that you want to make an offer below list price on. It wouldnt be the wise technique to show up wearing a solid 18k watch
