Hi! Thank you for making all these nice videos. I am excited for my trip to BKK. May I know, from MBK Mall to pratunam, you took the boat right? what pier stop is near the MBK Mall?

Thanks so much for watching and commenting. We didn't take the boat from MBK Mall to Pratunam as we visited them on different days. But you can definitely take a boat from Pratunam pier to Hua Chang pier and from there, walk to MBK. Have a great trip!

Why do I see most Muslims in the country and in China giving up and not integrating with the rest of society? They do not have productive activities that contribute to a strong society for them. Even the majority are immersed in the local language. They do not speak much Arabic or English. The girls are excessively shy. Even if you want to belong to this community, it will not help you advance at work. And progress, I see fear written on faces. I ask for an answer if necessary from anyone who lives there, and I thank you.

@BringUsTravel, for the Halal food on Thonburi side, better go around Bang O mosque or the Muslim community mall on the other end of Bang O MRT station.

As a Filipino Muslim, I find the Thai Muslim community impressive, because it is cleaner and more organized and orderly compared to the Fil-muslim area in Manila. I want to live there, or at least visit it, just to experience the community. Kudos to Thailand for their tolerance and acceptance of diversity.

For those who are staying in Ramkamhaeng area itself, especially a hotel like Regent Ramkamhaeng 22, the hotel's Bunga Raya Restaurant serves halal fares. The area from Ramkamhaeng 53 ( Soi ha sam) till Ko Ko Tor ( Mini 59 Food Plaza), across is the Rajamangala National Stadium, Sports Authority of Thailand, FBT and Grand Sports of Thailand. The daily thalad nut ( night market ) opens every day but there are so many food vendors all along the pavement after leaving Mini 59 Food Plaza. At 9.32 minutes, that shop is near the mosque at Ramkamhaeng 53, near Khlong San Saeb, owned by Nik Azizah, opens from 0300 till 11.00 am every day, frequented by mostly Muslims from the 3 Southern states. Cheap cheap fares with a mix of Thai/ Malay food Language is not an issue, even Google translate is irrelevant as I use Bahasa Melayu to order and you can have a hearty breakfast here. Ftom there, all along Ramkamhaeng 53, to the left and right are halal food and shops. For those who stay elsewhere, take the Airport Link from Phiya Thai Bte station, stop at Ramjamhaeng Station, get down, even there, there are Muslim vendors who can speak Bahasa Melayu or once opened a restaurant in Malaysia, you just look at the displayed menu, ask them in BM, they will tell you which one is which. From there, go to the UM Tower Building across the railway tracks, go to the bus stop. Just take buses no 71, 22, 40, 168, 113, 92.. this bus stop is across from The Nasa Hotel. There is a sign board showing which buses stop here, just say to the bus conductor that you want to go to Ko Kor Tor. It stops at that Mini 59 Plaza. Get down, turn left and explore the food on sale, especially in the evening, go to Soi 61, 53.. the lanes or like mentioned, go to that Night Market at Sports Authority of Thailand..quite busy. I would just speak BM...then the vendors would respon and I can try out what I want. Expect to 40-45 baht for Nasi Minyak, Kao Mok, Fried rice...the list of halal food is just endless. Hope this helps as I do not vouch to take the Khlong San Saeb river boat from Pratunam Pier to Ramkamhaeng Pier as its quite smelly. For those going back to your hotel outside of Ramkamhaeng, take buses 113, 71, 40 from the bus stops across Mini Plaza, you can see people waiting there including students from Ramkamhaeng Uni, get on the bus, say pai Airport Link. The bus will stop at the bus stop near Nasa Hotel, just walk till you reach the hotel, there is an overhead pedestrian bridge, that will lead you to the Airport Link station, take the train to Phiya Thai or Ratchapharop if your hotel is near Pratunam. Buses no 40, will take you pass the Airport Link until BTS Phra Kanong then you can use the Bts to your hotel if its near the Sukhumvit line. Bus no 40, 113, 71, 22 will weave though from across Ko Ko Tor till end of Ramkamhaeng road, straight on till Pridi Banomyong, through Sukhumvit 71 then you can see the BTS station, buses will stop just after Phra Kanong BTS station. Bus no 168 from Ramkamhaeng will use Rama 9 road right till Victory Monument where you can take the. train ftom BTS Victory Monument.
