The Russian one is probably the best because of its blend function followed by the Deluxe Big Muff that covers most of it...

I'd like to correct this a little bit - David Gilmour is known for using the V2 "73" Ram's Head, Not the Green Russian.

Hey thanks for the video. I noticed you didn't recommend the cab for the solo. So, I added the same cab the rhythm channel has. Sounds smoother with the cab than without it. Thanks for the video it was educational for me because I am a beginner with the pedal lol.

Sorry but every single one of those awfully jangly sounds he is making out if are absolutely nasty, awful, thin, weak and horribly metalic with no fullness. body or warmth whatsoever.

This amp is great ..I've played lap steel both clean and dirt on brit combo or stack setting through this in clubs and even outdoor festivals. Put a mic in front of it and use the amp as your fold back speaker on stage. Left the Roland Bluescube at home since I bought it. Batteries, no fuss setting up to play ! Great review, cheers.

I have a Gilmour setting with a couple of snapshots on my Stomp. I'm omw to work rn and I don't have my laptop so this is just to the best of my recollection. I use the WhoWhat, of course, and I add an extra cab to make it sound more full. I don't know if it makes a difference but I tweak the settings to get the tone of an amp pushed at full volume with one recorded close and the other at a distance for an "in the room" sound. For effects always use a boost because the Hiwatt was built to be clean sounding relative to a Marshall and needs a little push to go into overdrive. My snapshots use a fuzz face for early album tones and a rams head or triangle muff for DSotM or later. I use the Ubiquitous Vibe before the amp mostly pretty subtle and barely there but always on. After the amp I either have a plate or hall reverb depending on what I'm trying to emulate. I really like the Live at Pompeii video so it's usually the hall reverb set pretty low. For some of the tracks on the albums I use a tape delay. From there I switch it up whenever DSP causes limitations. I use a pretty drastic high cut, around 8k to emulate the warmth of tape recording. 8k for DSotM or earlier. A little higher for everything later with the exception of Animals, which I push low enough that it sounds small and distant because the original mix for that record was pretty bad. I also use a compressor or limiter to make it sound less dynamic. For the clean sounds in ABitW pt II and Run like Hell I use a compressor to make the sound very "on top" of the mix.

I'm a big Squier fan but even I was surprised at how well the Bullet did in the sound comparison. The Fender CS sounded better, but it wasn't as different as I expected.

Much of the cost of very expensive guitars is the finish work. With the Academy series they have produced a good quality guitar and simply left it quite plain. I.E., no beautiful artistic binding and no beautiful gloss paint (I prefer the satin neck). It's the least expensive of my guitars, at half the cost of the next above it, and a quarter the cost of the most expensive, yet it finds a place to belong among the rest. My guess is that it's made in Taylor's Mexico plant, which is "not" a strike against it. I do not believe Taylor, at this point in their history, would risk their reputation on a lesser quality guitar out of Mexico.

⚡im telling ya folks! since i have the Gt1K i've TURNED OFF (yeah it's true 🥵) all my stellar analog studio preamps n beefy tube head such as Egnater Rebel30, ENGL e530, Brunetti Overtone2, Carvin X1 or Bogner Alchemist .....i can even believe it myself i'm so shocked !!!! 🤨 i had previously a certain amount of multiFX units as well such as the Boss Gt100, TC Nova System, Zoom G9+G3 ...but these new AIRD simulations are 3D but not in the crappy Hifi way ...THEY DO HAVE GIRTH 💣🎖 i could sell too all my mics (Ribbon, Dyna, Condo) + the dedicated preamps or analog Cab-Sims (Palmer PGA05) that used before to capture my tones .....all these stuffs R now almost useless (except for complementing the good look of my Homestud 🤓) IT'S FREAKIN WEIRD HOW IT SOUNDS GOOD 👽+++ the amount of possibilities of processing n the esoteric routing options (3 chain in // with 0 latency) +++ the Output EQ'ing options are mindblowing 🏆 the format factor is also a big+ 🚀 BOSS IS JUST KILLING THE COMPETITORS ⚔

I have watched this video more times than I true. Well then I truly care to admit Tom you’re an amazing guitarist. It was your encouragement that got me started with cream tea and so and so forth I am blind and dictating my message so please excuse any errors and spelling, however I am curious to know as I love this amplifier myself and have one. I also bought that based on this video as well. I truly think you’re a great guitarist and I certainly aspire to that greatness I’ve been playing for about 40 years. people say I’m good but I’m certainly no rockstar lol either my question is about the quality of victory products I want to know what your opinion is of the victory sheriff 25 up-to-date to now what you think of the amp build quality and do you think it’s just an overseas PCB board reconstruction boutique put together in the UK or is this a worthy Amplifier? It’s really hard to understand or be sure I have no doubts about Friedman and several of them but I do like some of the tones that are on the sheriff thanks. 1:29 1:35 1:36
