Mangrove for me it's like a battlefield of economists and environmentalists. In Indonesia, all provinces have coastal area, although some have few villages that located along the coastal line. Potential conflict between ecosystem of mangrove with economic interest of the community will be found easily. Mangrove is important for many reasons especially for people living on the coastal line, and especially for those who depend their livelihood on it. One example, for people who farms tiger shrimp traditionally uses mangrove ecosystem to support them in disease management.
