Broken like I was .. this has changed my entire life I reached out to God and he reached back 2.5 years clean and living life on life's terms trusting in God. I don't always get it right but I pick myself up and try again . Loving and living my life now Instead of hating and dreading my life .

Perfection is Holy made practical. But that is only half the journey. The other half of the journey is for practical to be made Holy. God's will only becomes real to us when my will obeys His; and not until then. "Oh I long for Sanctification!" But God only fruited me up when I stopped longing for - and started doing (Immediately).Jesus Christ is Sanctification found in me, as I am found hidden in Him. When I got absolute, and unquestioning in my faith the miracle of the atonement of Christ Jesus became real in me.It reminds me of D.L. Moody's quote: "The Scriptures were not given for our information, but for our transformation." All that Jesus made possible for me comes to me when I live on the basis of living on things already accomplished in Christ. Now my attitude as a saved and sanctified soul becomes that of a profound, humble holiness. (Ain't no proud holiness in other words!). I have found it a holiness of agonizing repentance, a sense of inexpressible shame and degradation, and also on the amazing realization that the love of God demonstrated itself to me while I cared nothing about Him. To understand the provisional will is to understand He completed everything for my moral and personal will all wrapped in salvation for my own good despite myself. It is then that truth in my life is seen by the words of Jesus - "If you love Me, you will obey My commandments." AMEN.

You can't deny that, at least early on in adulthood, our childhood has a huge impact on our decisions as young adults. So, blame mom and dad? Yes, but we do have free will, and they're not around anymore...so when you're 30 you're sort of to blame for your own decisions. Including therapy if your family was REALLY screwed up (like mine was) and I did 30 years of therapy (I'm 65 so for some of you, you weren't even a glimmer in momma's eye when I came along). And, I'm much better now. :)

Andy Stanley: I have a real stumbling block with the Bible in the almost complete absence of named women. We have prostitutes, sly vixens who get their husbands to do bad things, daughters who, like chattel, can be bought for brides or given to horny men so they'll leave or who generally get blamed for trouble if they're in the vicinity, then there's Mary, Ruth, Esther and a handful more. But, compared to the number of named men in the Bible, it pales to the point of disappearance. I know God doesn't want women to feel inferior, but he didn't do so well with the Bible, IMHO.

It is very hard for me I have to remember I cannot let my feelings control my way of thinking I have to let God's Will control my thoughts and dwell on what His Word so abundantly tells us to Trust in the Lord with all thine Heart and lean not to thy own understanding Acknowledge Him in all thy ways and He shall direct thy paths

Real Love and Peace that shows that God is the center of the picture and without God first there is no chance God has to be first and knowing Him on a Spiritual connection thru Jesus Christ and I know God gave me him I just have to get my mental perspective in focus with God and he has to get his mental focus on God because there is no other way we can make it we have to be sure to draw a line in the sand of what we expect from each other communication is crucial in any relationships with trust and the wonderful fruits of the Spirit and we have to always give 100% in what we bot want and need thru Christ and I do not know if I can get past the times he put his hands on me and at the end he got me so mad I hit back and that is not my character anymore and I refuse to live in mental and physical violence

Prayer is a Powerful tool in knowing He hears and answers as long as you are on the right track for God and His Will it is mind over matter you have to look to God for the guidance of your mind and heart

I need to sow goodness and gentleness Peace Love and Joy into it but he has got to know he has to change and know that God is the answer for our Marriage and that is te only way I raised my kids in church and I know they will fall back on it

When I married Him it was for better or worse till death do us part and I meant it and I know he did also

This is the most important intimate relationship we could ever have and the Beauty of it is unexplainable unless you have it thru His Spirit

We have to keep the focus on God's Way's not our way's

We need to become on an intimacy with God knowing He is leading our thoughts and ways knowing that is the only way and know the difference and discern His ways and thoughts stay in the scripture He knows best

I know that I belong with my Husband and we got to overcome the things that the devil throw at us thru God's Guidance thru His Word and Wise Counsel we are to focus on what God's Desire is in our Life

Look at the things above not to things below which is earthly

I know that His Will is going to be done for me I am focused on the Cross and that is my goal for my life to bring others closer to God thru Jesus Christ and His Word and wise counsel and I have to overcome mt fears knowing that God is not going to put more on me than I can bear

His Ways and Thoughts are higher than ours

It takes 100% from each person to make a marriage work and the Precious Word of God guides the hearts and minds thru wise counsel

I am also taking wise counsel

My husband is saved he just is a chronic alcoholic and that is what is destroying our marriage and mt drug addiction for pain relief and I know I am going to depend solely on Jesus to heal my pain thru His Word and instruct my life

I need to ask your dad for his guidance young Pastor Stanley i do love your teachings please keep up the wonderful work in spreading His Word God will give you everything you need

I am looking for guidance from God in decisions on my marriage people do not understand I love this man with all my heart mind and body my soul belongs to God but my husband, I married him when we were both in church and he quit going his alcohol consumes him and he turns into the devil and I cannot or will not take his abuse I want to go home but i cannot take him back until I know that he gives up drinking for himself not anybody my sisters will disown me and I cannot I love him today as much if not more the day I married him heck we lived together for 3 years before I told him I could not live with him it was either he marry me or it could not be living with me and we went and got married and I know he loves me there is no doubt he just starts drinking then gets jealous and then violence I miss him and want to call him but I got to make sure it is the will of God I am willing to date him again only if he can quit drinking for himself not for me I just cannot live in the alcohol and drugs in our life's and know he wants to put God first in our life that is a mandatory if not I will not jeopardise my intimacy with God for no one or nothing God thru Christ has given me so many breaks in my life I will not take a chance on going outside of His Will I will not ever compromise what I have with God for cares of the world again He saved me and I want others to know how amazing when we have lost all hope He sends what we need to get people back on track sometimes I believe separating can show people what they had and if they do not make the changes needed in their life to doing the Will of God they can loose the best thing that ever happened to them and know that only by the hand of God it is possible for Love and Peace in His Word and church is a major tool for an Christian to learn grow and share in His Word and know you are with God's children and it gives us strength to be strong and I am a firm believer in what God joined together let no man put us under I know he never cheated he is an alcoholic and if he would quit drinking because he wants to for himself and no other reason but for God and himself so we can build on our marriage which is Christ the Solid Rock

Amen wise counsel is from the elders of God is so true they know what to do from experience Godly people who are honest and nothing to loose people who want to be and how to have the successful marriage and how God put you there wise counselwill br after elders of God

How do we discover the Will of God thru the Word of God is the only way I know

We are responsible for our decisions in ou life when we reach that age and know the difference between right and wrong and we got to stop the shame blame game remember when you point that finger at a person you have three pointing back at yourself God is telling you to clean your life up and pray for others quit accusing others for your mistakes and do not point out their faults we are to encourage and uplift one another as the Word of God want us to do and Glorify God at all times Pray without ceasing and read and learn daily on His Word for strength to fight the devil off

I love my Husband even tho he was horrible to me because of alcohol and drugs and the fear of messing up again is in my mind because I do not want to step out of the Will of God no matter what anyone says I married him in the eyes of God and I realized after years of desperation I cannot change Him all I can do is change what I do and say in my life and Pray that God Will show me the right way thru His Precious Word and I know my husband is Precious if he would give God full control and I cannot have the drinking nd using drug in my life or nasty language I refuse because I am focused on the Cross and everything else is null and void in my life and if people love me they will accept me and how I believe or leave me alone if they will not let our Father be the center of their attention then I cannot or will not have no part of it because I know what God wants from me to spread His Word thru Christ our Savior and set the record straight on Eternal Salvation is only thru the shed Blood of Christ my job is to share the Truth and the Truth will set you Free i promise that there is no way to describe the amazing Peace and Love that His Word brings into your inner being my friend we learn to base feelings on the Will of God and what He wants and expects from us thru Jesus our Savior there is no sweeter Name known to man

God is amazingly wise and patient with us :)

Funny how God's Will seems to always coincide with whatever a preacher feels comfortable being true. Religion is the belief in supernatural entities or forces that have an effect on the natural world. These entities or forces are invisible, inaudible and otherwise undetectable by natural means. Religion tends to dwell on events and judgments taking place after we die. By the above definition, religion has no reality check. Where there is no reality check, no questions or doubts are tolerated. In other words, you must believe, and dare not question anything religion claims or demands. Sounds idiotic? That's probably because it is. - Religion is a disease. Education is the cure. It's time to eradicate this plague from the planet. Humankind has suffered long enough.
