Very nice Don! Thanks for sharing, great spot. I'm a long ways from the ocean, I miss the ocean. I agree, do your homework on the regulations. Don't piss off the fish fuzz!

You should make a two-stroke scooter that runs off of a ported chainsaw motor! It would be a sweet video

Stay in good spirits Donny, it is difficult mentally being injured. I don’t like seeing you like this, our favourite saw mechanic! Keep your stick on the ice bud! Take care, get well.

I follow a couple different Salmon guides in BC area and both have been catching record amounts of 30# plus fish. Makes for awesome memories for their clients! In 8th grade I had a stress fracture in the bottom of my foot. (They say a clean break always heals faster.) It was so sore for a long time and I knew when first seeing your injury that ya had quite the road ahead of you. Sorry you are down in the dumps and frustrated but everything happens for a reason and they don't ask us if it is convenient. You are a lucky man to have so many great people that care and love you. Try to make them your focus and keep your chin up. Things will slowly get better each and every day! Thanks for stopping on and sharing a sunset that only BC could every offer!👍👍

Hey Donnie I'm not sure if you will see this but I was wondering if you have ever seen a piston top that looks like wrinkles in aluminum foil. My 550xp mark 2 only has maybe 2 or 3 hours total on it and I looked in the spark plug hole and saw the piston looked strange. I then pulled the muffler to get a better look. The piston top looks exactly like wrinkled up aluminum foil and I'm worried about even starting it now. It runs faster than any saw I ever had but I'm not gonna run it again until I can get this figured out cause I'm afraid it might be having a melt down

Magnesium here means Aluminium/Magnésium Alloy, There isn't that much magnesium in fact. It's just that the MG alloy adds so much strength, that the piston can be much lighter. I wish the 500 had such alloy piston ...

100% those screens shoot sparks. I was camping and bucked up some trees with a newer saw that had the spark arrester and sparks were flying out. Took screen out no more sparks. They either want to start forest fires or they just never tested them.
