Clinician here! Really let down by this video. You had an opportunity to describe the actual difference between the psychological term of dissociation and the feel (or act) of disassociation, which- when speaking between actual clinicians, or in a true clinical context, which this video seems to be marketed toward people working in- are *ABSOLUTELY* different things. I'm sorry, but while you have a lot of great videos and are clearly a solid practitioner, I don't really understand why you’ve uploaded this video and spent five minutes giving a clinical opinion, to clinicians, which is patently false. Dissociation when used in a clinical context- and when being used with clients to describe symptoms regarding it- relates to a disordered/autonomic psychological condition. Disassociation is the tool or action of removing oneself from something/someone. For instance, we can use a compartmentalization visualization to help us dis-associate from our painful memories for the day to be able to focus on work. Or I can come home and try to use youtube to dis-associate from my painful memories of the day’s cases….

So not regretting an abortion makes it a "loving thing" to end a life?

Hmm... So you're saying you're not the determiner of when life starts, and yet you then say it's "certainly not" in the first few weeks after conception. I'm not seeing consistency here...

Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; Don't you lie to me about God amen it is written that we are to tell the truth always. As Jesus Christ said And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Galatians 4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

Please vaccinate me against alcohol,my mom is a backstabber and has been feeding me yeast that's why i every time i eat i get massive bac increase, yeast or other fungi is in pills and food. And that's why you haven't been able to find my alcohol bottles or something like that used for it because its all endogenously produced. Is it so hard to trust me? Dr sanja had anorexia and was alcohlic so she wanted to lose weight and induced the same thing into her with some kind of fungal organisms so she would get drunk after eating and lose weight.

hey Jamie I saw the videos on your channel. Your video content is excellent. To grow & increase the view of your channel you need to optimize your videos. Inspite all of your efforts videos are not being viewed. Video SEO Score is very low. The title, Description, and Tags are not SEO-friendly. many other problems are found on your KZfaq Channel. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO friendly then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. Do you want to improve those problems and grow your KZfaq Channel?

Human beings are social creatures and we need CULTures of like minded people, otherwise you are isolating and alone, the worst place for an alcoholic to be. You could argue anything is a cult. Is going to church a cult? Is joining a motorcycle club a cult? Is joining a sports team a cult? You could argue that's all similar to joining a recovery group. At the end of the day when people don't wanna go to AA because they think it's a cult.. I would say, that's EXACTLY why it works. And it does work. Your desire to drink will go away if you keep yourself in meetings, but it definitely feels like a type of self-improvement cult; however, there is no real obligation to stay, you can take your will back at any time, BUT, theirs a greater chance you will drink again. A recovery safety net is going to feel like a cult. You're going against mainstream society when you choose to quit drinking. Which is a good thing because mainstream society is nuts, they drink and poison themselves. But I would say overall it's a fellowship, not a cult. But I completely agree here, every meeting is different, it depends which one you go to. Some people probably do make it a cult.

I personally do feel more comfortable with therapists who don't share too much personal stuff with me. Maybe it is because I was always abused by people that I knew well? So I feel safer when I don't feel as close with the dr. that I'm talking to.

Y’all!! I came out as a lesbian in 1983 and I remember all of this history, having lived it. I remember how liberating it was to see the Sisters in the late 80s. I remember how we responded to the AIDS crisis and the shift we made to save lives. I also see the parallels with plurality and plural pride and I shout a big thank you for both of you and your work! 🌈🔥

I'm 25 years sober and have been to a LOT of meetings over the years. Anonymity has gone out the window and ego-driven people are leading/controlling the meetings. I've tried new places, new meetings and unfortunately, I'm not comfortable there anymore. the "absolutes" are intimidating and I'm amazed I'm still sober, based on their standards. I've never fit in, because I don't follow the crowd. I learned from the 12 steps and have moved on with my life. I'm here to support anyone who asks for help, but I will not pressure anyone to follow my steps "or else".

My therapist would just say "Stay Jackie": or "Stay Michael but tell me what's going on inside"..... but if I did switch, she'd just talk to who ever came out and not ask me to switch back to whomesoever. My daughter is an ace at this... even if I switch five times during a conversation, she just keeps having the conversation with us, who ever is fronting, and doesn't even react to the switch, even if she noticed it.. She just talks to who ever is there like she would anyone else and she says "you are all just Mom to me!" She's an Angel

We were told by a psychiatrist that DID isn't a real diagnosis, and flat refused to call us by our alter names. it did a lot of lasting damage to us, but thank goodness for our alter Michael, as he came out and told the psychiatrist that he had Single Personality Disorder. We.... have to hide from most people that we are DID as people are so skeptical and think you make it up "for attention" or as an excuse for bad behavior,. Thank you for the word authenticity. WE want to be authentic.

The best way to decide😊 if AA is cult or not would be your definition of what a cult is. If you believe your attendance at that meeting is imperative for any success. Have to believe you can't challenge any tenants or the ideology, be in lock step with the group. Without their assistance and support you will soon lose all chances to succeed. Yup you're definitely in a cult
