Hello, I own a storefront boutique in the town I live in and was thinking about getting into livestreams to help move our inventory quicker. I just had a question that maybe you could help answer because I’ve never used whatnot. Our clothing is obviously brand new from fashion district so it’s tagged with the price in our store. I see that whatnotnis a lot of bidding wars but do people actually sale full price items? I want to move our clothes but I’m definitely not trying to lose money by doing it. We aren’t one of those ridiculous prices boutiques, we’re super reasonable but our stuff is brand new. Maybe, hopefully you could help me with that question. lol. Awesome video BTW.

thanks for watching! I haven’t done whatnot in awhile, but I would generally have $5-$10 starts, and would occasionally sell full priced items. Whatnot is a social app so it helps to have friends to cross promote shows with to grow your following! I recommend just trying it out a few times just to see how you feel, because some people are full time sellers using whatnot alone!! So it is possible!!

No worries if youre not able to say but if you dont mind, what's your average sales when doing flea markets? I average about 200-400 with my highest being around $700 but never over $1000. That's including 3 rose bowl events too. I feel like I always hear people making over 1-3k and I pretty much have the same stuff as every other vintage seller.

right now I think the economy is just not in a great place, people aren’t shopping like they used to and the vintage market is very saturated… it’s about consistency and building your own community now!! being a reseller isn’t as “easy” as it used to be, don’t get discouraged, you have to keep trying and eventually you’ll start figuring out what works best for you!

I recommend going to the goodwill bins, yard sales and flea markets!!!
