These are great for about 5 years, then the battery inside the cube dies and it cannot be replaced (sealed inside). So then it becomes pointless.

What if you want dimmers at both ends of the circuit? Can you create a 3-way circuit with 2 Tru-Universal Touch dimmers?
@LegrandNA3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. To have a dimmer on both ends you would need to use the ADTH700RMTU (Tru Universal Master) and the ADTHRR (Tru Universal Remote), both in the touch style from adorne. Thanks!

The video shows a dual/ stacked switch in the radiant line but I can't find it anywhere online, do you have a part number? Looking for it in the dark bronze finish

Hello Rich! The Two Single Pole Switch can be found here: www.legrand.us/radiant/products/switches/rcd11w.aspx This product does not come in a dark bronze finish but is available in white, ivory, light almond or black. Thanks!

this is one of the worst instructional videos ever made. its a glorified commercial that does not show the most important parts of installation (specially considering that there are no instructions packed with the products).

Whatever you do, just remember to avoid hacking at a connected wire repeatedly with a large kitchen knife without turning off the power.

I returned mine, afraid to wire it in my kitchen. I got the plug-in cover style instead. I was told a double pigtail into the device is OK. I doubt it.

I just installed the same charger and it works but I have a concern. I installed it in my kitchen on my island. When I get close to it it kinda makes a little noise like a whistle. I'm not sure if it was making that noise before or if that's fine? I noticed that the other wall outlets don't make the noise. Is it because this one has the usb chargers?

Though the written instructions are not quite clear. 1. Wire the line to the hot terminal on the softtap switch. connect the 3-way terminal from the switch to the 3-way on the dimmer. Connect the 1-pole from the switch to the 1-pole on the dimmer. Connect the load (lamp) to the hot on the dimmer. Once you energize the circuit you will first hear the switch contactor close and then the dimmer will go thru its test function. The dimmer and switch will then function correctly. If you wire the line to the switch instead, the dimmer will function but the switch will not function. This could require some additional work to wire the boxes.

I like this video because you get an idea of how many cables you can fit inside the channel. Unlike the crap manufacture website that doesn't give you any accurate inside diameter whatsoever.

1. Do other manufacturers' GFCI now test themselves more frequently, less frequently, or you can't be sure about all the competition? 2. Do your self-testing GFCIs have a marking that makes it easy to differentiate them from your GFCIs, still for sale, that were manufactured in compliance with the standard as of June 2015 and earlier? Thank you.

It's ok. Better then the wires and as for holes one needs to make some major holes if going through the wall. A empty house has a million holes everywhere. Just fill them and paint like it is always done.

Tamper Resistant Receptacles have many drawbacks. The Shock Shutter Tamper Resistant Outlet Covers work just like TRRs and offer many advantages over TRRs. The Shock Shutter can be installed by anyone, is quick and easy to install and is a lot cheaper than hiring a licensed electrician to install TRRs.

Brett that is actually the correct way to install a receptacle. You want the ground female upright for better stabilization. That is one of the largest misconception that the ground female hole goes on bottom. Just FYI bud.
