--------------------- I’m not sure if you’ve reacted to any of these, but here’s a list with my interpretation of what genre I think they fall under: Too Much Heaven (R&B) How Deep Is Your Love (R&B Ballard) Staying Alive (disco) Night Fever (disco) You Should Be Dancing (R&B or disco) Fanny be tender with my love (R&B) Jive Talking (R&B) Nights on Broadway (R&B/Funk) Tragedy (Techno? Pop) More than a woman (Disco/R&B) Love you inside out (Funk/pop) To love somebody (R&B) Massachusetts (pop/country) Wind of Change (funk/r&b), live 1975 from the Midnight Special) Alone (pop) Love So Right (R&B) Words (pop, 1979 Spirits Tour) Lonely Days (pop) You Win Again (pop) Run to Me (pop) How Can you mend a broken heart (R&B) Kiss of Life (rock) One (pop) Wedding Day (pop) Rest Your Love on Me Awhile (country) Bodyguard (R&B) For Whom the Bell Tolls (pop) Blue Island - live (pop) Our Love, Don't Throw it all away-Bee Gee's or Andy's version (pop) Secret Love (pop) This is Where I Came in (live) (pop) The 1989 One for all tour medley (excellent vocals & some humor) If you want to see them (the Bee Gees) and how they work in the studio try: (A) the making of their song "Tragedy" from 1979 (B) The making of the song "Just in Case" (C) The making of the video "This is Where I Came in" from their last cd in 2001

This live performance was being filmed in a studio setting for a national broadcast on PBS when it was brand new, so there were only a handful of people in the room. It is hard to believe they had been playing together less than a year, and Mark had only been singing and not singing / lead guitar. It seems like they had been playing together for years.

Rick Danko, he is hammered there, but check out some of his songs with The Band, "It makes no difference" Stage Freigth, he was a very soulful singer. However, he had a cocaine and heroin problem, as did others in The Band, but he had an endearing personality.

It is an acoustic version and it sounds great. If it's legit, I would give him 10 for this performance. Nowadays, if you think you are listening to real live performances, you better think again. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nKyAm8572NrOpas.html

Ian Gillan is one of rocks best ever vocalists, and copied by many early heavy metal vocalists. As for the band......probably more musically proficient than Led Zepplin. That said, i prefer the cover by Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Barnes. Or better still......the live 1970 video of Sweet Child in Time, or.....Stone Cold by Jimmy Barnes with Joe Bonamassa. lol
